God, I hate the Cowboys. And I’m from Dallas. How the hell do they lose to Arizona, then beat Washington? Something is amiss here and I vow to get to the bottom of it.
The Vikings are finally going to go all the way this year. They’d better anyway. I’m getting tired of this.

Sure, the Cowboys suck, and probably won’t make the playoffs, but that’s the expectation. 'Skins fans around here were expecting a SuperBowl as a given, before the season even started! How can any team meet expectations like that?
While the best outcome of the twice-yearly DC-Dallas game is a catastrophic natural phenomenon with tragic results to said teams (freak tornado… Blimp lands on both teams… You know, stuff like that…), given the way the NFC East is shaping up, a Redskin loss was a good thing, and it came to be.
We are 3-0 now, with the Redskins coming into our house next week. A win (even though this is EXACTLY the kind of game we would traditionally lose) would put us 4-0, 3 games up on the highly touted Redskins, and 3-0 in our division.
Plus, Cowboys lose big to Eagles who we killed, and Cowboys lose close to Cards who we killed, and Cowboys beat Redskins. I like the symmetry and logic here if nothing else…
We ain’t better than St. Louis or Tampa Bay, and probably not as good as Minnesota, but I like our chances in the NFC East this year!
So I’m glad the team-that-isn’t-the-Redskins sucked ass.
As for you Falcon, you know you have 30 other teams you can root for! Next comes the Titans, and… Who is your third best? Fourth? I know the Seahawks are your 22nd favorite team…

Although, I’m NOT getting a good feeling about the game next week…losing to the Giants? Now THAT would be pitiful. (Only thing worse is losing to the Eagles. Which I can see happening…)
sigh It’s just as well I don’t have time to watch TV anymore, so I can be spared the agony of watching my beloved 'Skins crash and burn yet again. It’s like an abusive relationship, ya know?
