Always happy to oblige.

Knock Knock!

Interrupting cow!

Interr… MOO!

Cracks me up just to type it out!

ETA: Rebo a “motley” is a fool’s cap. Of course while I was answerin’ the feud I couldn’t think of fool’s cap. I am a fount of knowledge today!

Thanks!

Motley is the patchwork fabric pattern of the clothes worn by a jester, fool or harlequin. The hat, or cap ‘n’ bells, was also in the motley pattern. The entire costume, including the hat, came to be referred to as “motley.” When writing my answer, I was thinking of the entire costume, not merely the cap ‘n’ bells. So you could choose to score me along with Hoopy Frood for naming the whole costume, or put us both in with the hat crowd. Your call, Feudmaster!

I thought sure “motley” would be a conch. <sigh> Too much Shakespeare and Tudor scholarship; it’s done something to me.

As far as I know, he never aspired to be a career stand-up comic, but he did study and practice the art while preparing for his role in the film Punchline. Interesting snippet from the linked page:

That’s just way cool! And it takes the Dope for that many people to think of him as a stand-up who made it big

I was hoping to get this finished by 5:00, but Beadalin is only #49. I’ll have to score it in the morning.

Can someone report the game to be over when we get 50? Thanks!

Oh, I reported it, too. I forgot to mention that.
