The Democratic National Convention

Kaine finished with a flurry. Now it’s on to Barry O!

Boilerplate stuff. Kick it up a notch Barack.

I literally choked up and got fired up simultaneously. That was awesome.

Exactly the speech to make. Not boilerplate at all.

It is very much the case. This election declares who we want to be as a nation.

She was doing everything I was doing, but just like Ginger Rogers, she was doing it backwards and in heels.
Nice line.

ETA even better “Don’t boo - vote.”

It’s getting better. He’s still getting warmed up.

Don’t boo. Vote.

Yep, he asked for the downticket vote, following up on his Howard speech.

I shamefully admit, I hustle my butt out to vote for the POTUS, but rarely motivate for the local levels. And I KNOW it is beyond stupid - those local levels directly affect my life on a daily basis.

But I just turned to my husband and said we NEED to vote for even the “small” elections.

Democracy is NOT a spectator sport.

I think you lost a nickel.
