Honestly I do not read Wesley’s post as making fun of him at all but as a not inappropriate expression of concern.

Maybe I am confused but I always thought of witness as expressing how accepting God has changed someone’s life, or how someone has witnessed God by seeing something miraculous.

Stating that God has spoken or written to me in this specific and precise words about this election? That’s witnessing?
