Why does the “election” part have to be literal, but the “knife” part metaphorical?
Does God want us to know about the knife, or not? If He does not, then why tell you anything? And if He does, why didn’t he make his meaning plainer? God is certainly capable of conveying clear meaning if He so chooses.
Familiarity might tell you that this is the same voice you’re hearing now that you’ve been hearing for 31 years. But how do you know that it hasn’t been someone other than God this whole time?

I have been a little blind to Donald Trump’s recent problems giving excuses and saying,
“Hey that was 11 years ago for the video/audio tape” and the women coming out of the wood work with negative testimonies about his hands up their skirts.
Now I have to yield to God calling the plays as I always have had to do anyway.

I think the most obvious interpretation of this prophesy is that the Democrats will win the election, and that afterword the Republicans will wield whatever weapons are at their disposal to attack her and prevent the Democrats from achieving their aims.
Not a particularly shocking revelation, and one that could be made by plenty of non-divine sources.
Maybe the knife cuts the strings on all the puppets in charge from their wealthy puppet masters?
That the elected officials would finally be free to act their honest conscience and not act for the easy money or in the interests of maintaining the Robber Barons?
Maybe its a sign that at some point money won’t buy what the people who have it think it will?

I don’t think Clinton thought she was really talking to Roosevelt, though. It was probably more like “what would Eleanor Roosevelt, a heroine of mine, do in this situation? Can I make decisions that Eleanor Roosevelt would have found ethically acceptable?”
I gather he was being a tad facetious. Anyway, you’ve had a vision of some kind, and I guess we’ll see if circumstances line up with it in some way, but even if there was a dramatic parallelism, i.e. Hillary is stabbed by a deranged person on or around January 20th, I’m not sure how you establish this being anything more than coincidence. If a “hit” for you is “something bad happens to or in America after January 20th, 2017”, well… bad stuff is always happening to or in America.
I think “knife” here is a metaphor for all cutlery.

Good question … It’s almost like you know the answer, because God the Father and God the Son (Jesus has received all authority and power in heaven and in the earth) gives Satan the right to deceive the peoples of the earth whose names have not been written in the Book of Life.
Satan has not yet been cast down out of heaven, because when he is cast down he will be very angry and his time will be short. Jesus was our sacrifice on the cross way back in 30AD (1,986 years ago). Seven years or even 3 and 1/2 years is more like the time Satan will come down to do God’s will.
God the Father wrote the book of Revelations and gave it to His son who gave it to his angel who in turn gave it to St John on the Greek Island of Patmos on the Sabbath day while he was in the spirit.

A lot of charlatans who want people to think they can tell the future, when they really can’t, couch prophecies in vague metaphors that sound compelling and specific but in actuality are so friendly to interpretation that almost any outcome can appear to validate the prediction.
I get why a charlatan would do that: they’re hiding their inability to predict the future. What I wonder is, why would an omniscient deity engage in exactly the same behavior as humans who are trying to scam other humans?
