Wah Wah
I just broke the lid to my crock pot
Aw, man!
Irked, came home. Computer problems all over.
{{{{Sticks}}}}
Bummer, Apes.
Yea, the lid was on top of the crock pot which I store on top of our kitchen cabinets and when I shut the cabinet door the lid slipped off and came flying at my face. I caught it before it smacked me in the head and the lid handle snapped off :(. I doubt there is any way to fix it
My mom broke the lid to ours when I was a kid. She used a double thickness of Saran Wrap under a heavy plate and covered it with a dish towel. I think she still uses it that way. It was a round, not oval crockpot, which was lucky.
I think I can rig it somehow. It is still intact just the handle broke off. I was just upset because I really like that crock pot
My friend actually wrote back to me last night in spite of the fact that she’s in Ecuador. She’s an awesome friend.
I slept like hell, though. I kept waking up because my stupid nose was running.
Not sure what’s going on today other than maybe working on tax stuff.
Up, caffeinated, off to irk.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 57 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 for the day. Guess I can wear a short sleeved shirt to deheathenization.
{{{StickyBuns}}} I’m glad you’re friend answered your email and made you feel some better.
N.O.L. today shall be at the local good seafood place. OYKW and JDD have their birthday coupons and decided N.O.L. would be a good time to use ‘em, so we’ll all go there after deheathenization. Well, JDD and Partner will meet us there after deheathenization although they could show up to deheathenize. One never knows with those two. Speakin’ of deheathenization, I get to ush today. Rah.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants food. Then purtification for deheathenization shall commence.
Is this a record for the number of times deheathenization has been written in one post?
Happy Sunday Y’all!
Good morning!
It is currently 12 degrees outside with a windchill of zero. WTF?? This is Oklahoma I chose to move out of Wyoming so why are getting its weather? Brrrrrrrrrr
Yesterday was a good day I tried my first Zumba class then we went out for lunch and had an afternoon of staying out of the cold, watching football and making chili. Good day.
Today I am surprisingly mobile after Zumba although my butt hurts, my hips hurt, my knee is aching, the back of my thighs sting and my sides hurt. mr ems has offered to rub several parts better for me
Today we are going for brekkie make a quick Target run and possibly the movies. All of those involve going out in the cold which is not appealing right now
Did you like Zumba? I can only do a short video of it here at home because of my knee but I LOVE Aqua Zumba.
Mrs. Plant v.3.0 wanted me to make one of the fruit cakes with Disaronno. I bought her a new bottle and used the bit that was left. I put the empty bottle atop the refrigerator. The next day, I opened the freezer and was whacked on the forehead by the bottle.
I am telling everyone that I was hit by a whiskey bottle in a bar fight.

So the dream I had just before waking up involved Alton Brown, the Bronies (the new name for the My Little Pony Gang), Hello Kitty, a law student named Debbie who, when answering a question in class, rambled on endlessly; twin 10 year olds who just released a hit single, and a lot of spilled milk. No one cried.
Another busy morning, even tho I slept in! I got up a little after 7, and when we got cleaned up, we went to try Bert’s for breakfast. It was good but the portions were way too huge! **FCD **had 3 pancakes that hung over the plate - I swear, each one was about the size of 3 normal pancakes. I got french toast, and while it was just 4 half slices, it was super-thick bread, so it was the equivalent of 8 half slices. I couldn’t finish mine either. We told the manager that the food was good but the servings were too much. I hope they scale it back a bit. It’s nice to have another breakfast choice, since weekend breakfast out is one of our hobbies.
We came home and continued readying the kitchen for the new counters. The mud has been sanded and the walls are ready for primer. I need to check and see if we have any - I think we do. Some of the counters are loosened already, but the major disassembly will be done tomorrow evening.
I also swept up stray kitteh litter (I wish they’d learn to wipe their feet on the mat in front of the box…) and changed the furnace filter. We’ve got a heating oil leak, so I’ve got to call the oil company tomorrow. We’ve got a service contract, plus they installed the line and the filter, so they’ve obviously caused the leak.
**FCD **will be home the next 2 days, so that’ll work out well.
We watched the Denver-Baltimore game last night, and I was freezing just seeing how cold it was there. I’m not much of a football person, but that was quite a game. I am glad it didn’t drag out any longer.
And that’s about all for now.
Happy Sunday!!!
Mawnin all,
Chilly wet and blurfy
Happy Sunday all

I’m finding a lot of things while cleaning my room. I found some sheet music I was looking for, which is good. I also found some Air Canada barf bags! I guess I’d kept them as a souvenir from when I went on an orchestra tour in 2004. I ended up throwing away the barf bags because I didn’t really have a use for them.
Midget, no!!! What happens in the next few days if you have to barf!!!

It’s a wonder the kitchen doesn’t kill us or seriously maim us more than it already does. People are clumsy, ![]()
Oh. P.S. I asked for cold weather and it is going to be in the 40s to upper 30s the rest of the week. You all can thank me, or at least give me a head start if you want to throw things at me
