To be completely honest, I never really gave a crap about post counts. I’ll be the first to admit that only a small number of my total posts are “productive” (using Anth’s definition of “productive”, anyway). Take this post, for example… does it contribute anything significant to the message board? Not especially, no. So why’m I posting it? Because it amuses me to do so.
I think you’ve hit it exactly, SPOOFE. That comment would be descriptive of every post that every person makes, wouldn’t it?
Kamandi, here is a new project for you. I have been curious about who has the most posts per month (or whatever timeframe you chose). I noticed that Guinastasia has 6000+ posts since Jul 2000. Is that a record?

Sort of. For a while I was averaging 500 ppm, which would outdo Guin by a few dozen a month or so. For a short while I was actually averaging just under 20 posts a day.
But Diablo 2 is more addicting than this place (to me, anyway), so my rate has fallen considerably. Seems like I’ve been in the 5500-6000 range for months now.
Okay, I admit I haven’t heard of rowrbazzle either…If it is a name change, please clue us in.

I feel sorry for the people with more posts than me who registered later. I feel the only reason I have so many is that I have 9 hours of boredom to fill every night. I’d probably still be below 1000 if I couldn’t post from work.
