The Bensten thing didn’t really hurt Bush/Dukakis, so it wasn’t an effective debate takedown. Christie seems to have done real damage to Rubio (albeit, at little advantage to himself).
(I never really got why the Bensten thing was supposed to be such a great jab anyways, to my ears it just kinda made Bensten look like a jerk).

I never understood the rationale for Carly Fiorina’s campaign. Her main asset was her business career, but that was a huge liability because of all the HP horror stories. Her only prior campaign was a disastrous joke remembered only for the Demon Sheep ad. What possessed her that she thought she might be the next president?
