The Early Morning MMP

Howdy from da cave! Leftover chikin pot pie for dindin. Tonight should finish it off.

I say box those stink bugs up and ship 'em to the Food Network. Somebody there will cook 'em up!

Spidey coffee hour is a Whiskypalian Sacrament. It ranks right after cocktail hour.

Yawn. I would like for this week to be over now, please. However, I came up with an idea today that means I don’t have to actually sew anything for my Halloween costume, and I’m terribly thrilled about that. So even though the rest of the day sucked, I reclaimed a good portion of my weekend in advance.

Still dizzy from a stopped-up head. I’m not stuffy, but my sinuses are clearly full of allergic residue. I had to change my plans for this afternoon from “hike up the mountain and take some pictures” to “head over to the store and get some Claritin and take a very hot shower.”

swampy, we should send the stinkbugs to that show where they give people three things in a box and they have to make an entree/dessert/appetizer from those ingredients. I forgot what it’s called.

Aaaand I picked a nice day to feel ill & stay home.

I am very familiar with the area where the events in DC have occurred. It has been interesting to watch from home.

Home after a very busy day. I’s tahred and hungry - we’re going out for supper. Not sure where, but we’ll figger that out.

That’s all I’ve got. I’m fried.

I wonder if Mangetout has ever considered eating stinkbugs. (I’m trying to find the thread where he documented his eating grasshoppers, but am having no luck.)

I’m working on a music arrangement. Not for ukulele/bass/accordion/kazoo band, unfortunately.

Martini time!

FCM, I’m making Italian chicken with 2 cheese rice. If you hurry, I’ll save you a piece.

Spaz, it’s Chopped. When I look in my fridge I hear the announcer’s name. “A lime. a case of Yuengling. a Habenero pepper. bacon.”

Happy Thursday, all. What’s on TV tonight?

This, folks, is called a well-stocked bachelor fridge.

2be Big Bang Theory is on tonight! YAY!!!

That’s it. Thanks.

You know, it might be fun on Iron Chef, too. Can’t you just see the Chairman announcing it? "Tonight’s secret ingredient is…

STINKBUGS!" grand flourish

Sounds like we have the basis for an extremely popular cookin’ show in Laos!

I played trombone in grade school.

I’m thinking Laotian spiders in chef’s hats wielding seven sushi knives and a spoon.

Bert’s made supper. We’re home now and I’m about to shed my clothes and spend the evening in a robe and slippers, just because.

Yay for new Big Bang Theory!

**FCD **asked me to knit some caps for the local veterans’ home, so I’ll be churning them out for the next few weeks.

Heh, I mis-read that as “grad school.”

Worked on some clay crafts. I’m trying to get back to work on the music arrangement. Why does the key of D-flat major have to be so difficult? I mean, it’s my favourite key, but still.

Okay, enough musician talk. :stuck_out_tongue:

Compose in C Major, then use the software to transpose the finished piece into D-flat

Sing, sing a song, make it happy, make it strong…just sing, sing a song!

The thing I’m arranging was originally in D-flat (written by someone else), and I’m preserving the original key. Besides, it’s a beautiful key.

I should go and practice the clarinet.

Having mono is like the most fun thing. Ever.

I had to take VWife to Georgetown Hospital today, and we did a short detour through downtown on the way home. Fortunately, we were outside the Belt on the way home when the SHTF.

Once again, the impotent Republicans were blamed.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
