It’s starting to rain here. It’s cold and miserable out. Our mailperson gave us all of our neighbor’s mail, so I walked it over to their mailbox. Not a long walk, but nasty all the same.
Chickie salad for supper.
All in all, boring here.
Leftover dindin has been ingested. I have a pot of taco soup on for tomorrow night. I like to make it and let it set overnight. Taco soup is better the next day IMO.

rosie this is the recipe I use for taco soup. It’s real easy and you can play with it if’n there’s stuff you don’t like or if’n you want to add stuff. I like a big glop of sour cream and guacamole on top as well.
Looks like the rain has stopped. On that note Ima go lie upon the bed and watch teevee until sleepy time.

Home from work and waiting for Swamp People. It’s nice seeing folks on television as strange as mothers side of the family; and a lot more sober as well. My maternal cousins would do the same if they lived South but every sentence would start with “hold my beer”.
Howdy from the den. Two cats, one dog at the moment. The replicants are over at the park terrorizing squirrels and small birds with their antics.
I would nocturnal given any option whatsoever. No one asked me. Meanies. So I get up and stagger for caffeine at 06:30. Commence the gentle, motherly nagging of children shortly thereafter. Offspring are deposited at school by 8, I start the commute. I generally arrive at irk between 9:30 and 10, having been on conference calls for most of the trip. This is depressing. :

We just finished several days of rain - yay! Now we dry out until next week, then more rain.
Tonight I think we’re chomping on leftovers. Poke chops, Chinese food, pizza. Clear the shelves buffet!

I’ve been super lazy today, only leaving the snug of my bed to have conversations with Nature. As a result, I think tomorrow I will be very achy. Pain pills all around! My treat.
From what I am reading there is no guarantee he’s going to give you hours even if you don’t rock the boat, I imagine your best course of action is to make the call and follow the advice.
I have worked in a couple places that had people who had been wronged, had called them on it, and were effectively untouchable(management *never *fucked with them again) after the dust settled.
This sounds like the best course IMHO.
For me I set my weekday alarm for 7:30am, and do whatever I want between then and 9:45am when I usually have to leave for work. However, some days I come in early, some days allow me to leave a bit later, some days I swing to an afternoon shift - so I don’t get too settled into anything.
Time off is more variable. My day officially ends at 7pm; however sometimes I am done my duties at 6:30 and I can roll home early. Some days I get home well after midnight. Sometimes I suddenly go out of town for a few days (I have a bag packed in the back seat at all times).
Whatever.
Tomorrow I will wake a bit early and go in early; I have to clean up and arrange my new office to my liking. That will be fun.
I’ve been tired but I have another half hour of irk to go.
well now I’m done irk because I got a long call while I was typing this.
I’ve had a very lazy day. I did get the spaghetti made and ran the dishwasher, paid some bills, sorted some papers, and activated my new debit card. That was hard irk.
Are they annoying bears?
That makes me think of grilled alligator, or blackened cotton mouth.

I hate to admit that I like Swamp People more than say Deadliest Catch because the people on it haven’t gotten as “Hollywood”. Yet. But its a matter of time I’m guessing.
Knoebels serves Gator Bites in the International Food Court. And they open April 25th. Not that I’m counting or anything. OK – I do have my bags packed. But I’m not counting.
