Doggio - yet another year has flown by. May the next one linger a while on all the good parts. Happy happy joy joy joy!
The company I irk for is running a two week promotion in which if I do well I could be up for a promotion. No guarantees but one of the requirements is that you have to irk your scheduled hours. I had a doctor appointment scheduled in those two weeks so I called the doctor to reschedule because dammit I irk hard and I want the promotion.
The next available appointment wasn’t until March 30th!!! However there was a cancelled appointment for tomorrow and I said ok. Now I am regretting it, I am going to have to get up between 5 and 6 to be out the door by 7, because I have no idea how long it will take to get there. I don’t know if I should stop at my mothers and pick up some more stuff, if I should leave the dog and kid home or take them with me. At least the visit will be over with.
I like my doctor and don’t want to find a different one but having one so far away sucks.
I suppose I could leave this afternoon and spend the night at my mothers.
The bump is gone! At least it’s gone from my head, but it’s on its way to a lab for a biopsy. Meanwhile, **FCD **will have to tend to it for me because I can’t see the area well enough. Between where it’s located and the progressive lens in my glasses, I don’t know if I could keep it clean on my own.
It’s a good thing I left really early, tho - the truck was frozen over - I could barely get the door open! I started it up and put the blower to the windshield at full blast, then attempted to scrape the ice - hah! So I very carefully backed off the parking pad and pulled the cab into the garage, and with the engine still running and the blower still blowing, I was able to break thru the ice on the windows, but not the back window - that was too thick. Still, I got it clear enough that I could drive safely, and as I drove down the road with the defroster on full blast, eventually, all of the windows were soon ice-free. Had I thought, I could have pulled into the garage right after **FCD **left for work and saved myself some aggravation. Oh well…
Afterwards, I decided I deserved lunch out, so I went to the Tequila Grill and had Fiesta Shrimp. I’s now stuffded and the anesthesia is wearing off, so my head is aching. I think it might be time to assume the recline position and watch TV.

Happy Bobbio Day!
Had a day 'o blurf.
Apparently I have irk tonight- I think it’s a student party, and the boss is planning to be in attandance. I am not looking forward to this. I’ve spent most of the day applying for jobs- the local job market seems to be picking up a bit lately, so I hope something will come up, and I can just get away from this stupid situation… I’d cross my fingers, but that makes it a little tricky to type.
Anyway, I should go recaffeinate if it’ll be a late one.
Huh? ![]()
It’s DogButler’s birthday, not mine.

Well let me be the first!
Stoopit distracted mumping… It’s all flytrap’s fault…
Happy Doggio day too… !
I went to Portillo’s for lunch and a beef dipped (soaked) and fries. Yummyyummyyummy I got beef in my tummy…
It’s decided that I am going to leave in the morning.
The drive can be as short as 70 minutes or as long as 3 and a half hours so I’ll leave at 7 to be there by 10.
I hate to drive all the way down there and not bring something back so I’ll load up the rest of my books before I come home.
Sometime in the next few months I have to renew my drivers license and Sah-dog is due for his rabies shot. I’m trying to find a rabies clinic up this way. I probably should get him a license too, being that he has never had one in his life. One thing I am bad about is getting a dog license. It started when I lived in the city where you are allowed only 2 pets. I always had more than 2 so why call attention to that by buying 4-5 licenses?
Yes, I’m a law breaker, but all my pets were strays and I felt I was doing the city a service by taking them off the streets.

Dumb ass Carmen from credit card services call me again today, gave me a chance to vent some of my tension.
Leftover meatballs for N.O.L.
You want to be the first one to be ill? Mom is the first today, with a big ol’ bump.
And the MMP is ill.
It is all Filbert’s Fault.
Admit it, flytap. You killed it. Murderer.
I must consult my Celebrity Death Pool List.

I wish I could say I did something today that was more eventful than wandering around town this morning looking everywhere for a specific type of cardboard, but yeah, that’s what I did. Found some eventually. Practiced the clarinet. Made more doughnuts.
I hope the next few days will go well.
I do hope you did not make cardboard doughnuts!
:dubious:
Haha!
No, I’m sure my doughnuts are edible. They’re made out of dough. And not nuts. Or cardboard.
Howdy Y’all! OYKW and I made a visit to the folks (JDDs ‘rents) at the nursin’ home in large and in charge Dawson, Jawja after we et taco soup, which, btw, is one of my better efforts in soup makin’. YUM!!! Anywho, 'twas a nice visit and they were glad to see us. Now he’s decided to have a soak in the tub and I’m here, but not for long. It’s been one loooooooooooooong day and very soon I shall betake myself beddy bye.
So, yays, boos, hugs, smooches, nougies, chitlins, trouts, wedgies and/or how you doin’s all around as needed.
Nitey Nite Y’all!
You have never met Timothy Treadwell.
:dubious:
My sweetie has taken care of the boo-boo on my head, cleaning off the ointment, swabbing it with peroxide, and applying fresh ointment. It feels a little weird - not painful, but not normal. I just need to not touch it since there’s no way to bandage it other than wrapping me up with gauze. I’m hoping a thick layer of ointment will keep it healing.
And on that note, I think I’ll recline a little while, then hit the rack. I haz a sad because Jon Stewart is going to leave The Daily Show.
MWAH!
WHAT?
Glad I’m not paying for TV anymore. There is officially nothing worthwhile on.
