Boring, boring, boring. What a letdown.
Why didn’t “Everybody loves Raymond” win anything? It’s easily one of the funniest shows on air, and even better, you hardly ever see the kids. 
At least Letterman beat Leno…YEHAW!

Speaking of which, must say that you guys (the Teeming Millions) were, on the whole, a major disappointment. Thought this would be a sure thing, that it would generate a lively exchange till the wee hours. Basically, that the rest of the threads (or the great majority of them) would fall silent for a couple of hours. :::sigh:::
Oh, well: Back to saving the planet, or at least trying to make it a little better in an ever so modest way.
