I’ve never understood this. Isn’t the point of going swimming to get wet? Is there a difference between wet from pool water & wet from rainwater? 
It’s the risk of a lightening strike hitting the pool while you’re in it that’s the dangerous part
Do people fish from a boat in the rain?
Spidey what Rosie said plus the warmth of the sun along with the coolness of the water is what makes it feel so good. Also, who wants raindrops in an iced cold beer!

So, do I look all saintly to y’all after two deheathenizations? No? Well that didn’t take then did it? Actually it was pretty good. Between the two services we had a little “Welcome Lutherans” time. We had goodies, coffee and lemonade set up. It was much appreciated. Plus there was a big Welcome sign. Neat.
I’ve had N.O.L. and a nappy poo. Nice lazy Sunday here at da cave.

swampy, I’ll buy that reason but I still don’t understand why the swim club closes on rainy (but not T-boomer) days.
Whisky is for sippin, not ice cold beer, if you’re getting rain drops in it, you’re drinking it wrong fore it doesn’t stay ice cold that long. 
As the weekend winds down, I’m thinking about what I’ll need tomorrow. I made some yummy chickie/rice/veggie soup, and there’s enough left over for my lunch tomorrow. Laundry is in and folded, dishwasher is emptied, and I’m about to assume the hat-making position.
**FCD **is bummed - the Redskins won. He doesn’t like the Redskins. But his Cowboys won, so that helped.

Spidey if it’s just a little rain shower I’ll hang in the pool. However, around here, usually where there’s rain there’s lightnin’ not far off and it can sneak up before you kow it. I’ve seen lightnin’ hit the water and it’s just :eek: My guess is the swim club closes because there’s always that chance.

Blurf. Spent the night at my boyfriend’s house for his birthday. Tried Indian food for the first time. I’m doing fine, but I’m have the end of weekend blahs.
