If both the Boston Red Sox and the Chicago Cubs make it to the World Series, will the world end right then or when one the teams wins?
How can either team win? Has anyone removed that 58-year old curse on the Cubs?

The world will end in the 9th inning of the 7th game just as the game winning homerun is on its way out of the park, but just before it gets called a homerun.
This idea, I should acknowledge, comes from St. Louis Post-Dispatch sports columnist Bryan Burwell.

Clearly an experiment is called for here. I am willing to chance it and find out by trial and error.
