I’m sad. I’m not sure you will read this (pardon the pun) But I have been mainly a lurker here since the late 90’s, in another name I was a charter member, and since the place has gotten a bit quieter your threads have always made me laugh. My daughter has much of the Skald approach to life and I hope once she achieves her goals of world domination and secret lair building she will turn her powers (of eeevil) to cure all forms of blindness. From a stranger far away, stuck on a ship. Good luck and many happy years. You sir shall be missed.

Yes, I too will miss you and maybe more than others. Since you are leaving now, I’ll confess that I use (some of) your hypotheticals in my adult English classes. Now I’m going to have to find more material and I don’t have your tremendous talent.
I think we’ve been though some similar experiences and I can really relate to a lot of what you post.
