Oredigger is really saying all the wrong things in my opinion. His NAF block doesn’t confirm either of them, especially not if he believed (initially) I got bombed meaning he could have blocked scum-killer NAF.
What? 18/3 = 6 and there are only three confirmed + one investigated = four Crimson Thorns. PIS slip?
cucuy’s investigation of USCDiver is nice and no need to worry yet if he failed or is scum. Although he can claim the former if he’s the latter to avoid a lynch. It probably leads to a boring Day though and another useless vote record (meaning anyone except the claimed roles won’t get much scrutiny).
But cucuy could for the last two investigations? I guess it’s possible Mahaloth changed his mind on posting PMs though.
I don’t like Nanook’s after the fact explanation of the side effect, although if it’s because it was a successful protect I can understand not to tell it. But if that is the case, it needs to be send now to confirm/deny the bomb thing.
It just might be the interaction between the investigation and the protect (a sort weak paranoid doctor effect revealing the protected (drugged?) target).
No, ed, but there is a lull because everyone settled on USCDiver rather early. Cucuy claims to have investigated him and that he came back mafia, so the week has been a bit slow.
In my opinion you could have argued a bit harder (and you really didn’t get told by the mod you were a Miller?!), but that probably wouldn’t have helped much. The reaction to your defense could have helped though.
Perhaps this counts as spoiled, but at least one of the claimed vanillas should have commented on your posted PM. Heck, anyone should have considered the possibility more carefully, but even CatInASuits mention of your deciding vote to lynch scum didn’t get any reaction.
It reminds me of Not-So-Simpletown were a claimed mason was lynched and no-one cared, but that was because there was no ‘town’ at all there.
I find some PM posting allowed and the others not really annoying. Especially cucuy telling he couldn’t even tell if/what for answer he got whether he knows he fails and a while later just telling it anyway.
Hello? Mod confirmed Miller? And JoeyP did confirm he got a passionate Night and it’s not like he had a chance to claim by Oredigger since he claimed in the sixth post after Dawn Day Three (less then two hours after).
NAFs tracking of JoeyP makes as much sense as blocking him: why would scum pick the most suspicious guy to make a move (unless he has a power himself). All the investigation were better spread out over more people.
For the record, Joey is really playing risky with the whole pm thing. He got his PM within minutes of dawn, just like anyone else who was due to get one.
Before you get spoiled, could you say in this thread who you think they are? Saying what your best guess is, without actually having any insider information, isn’t a spoiler.
The one I’m more confident of is Zeriel. He’s been flying under the radar, and coming in and tossing suspicion on the claimed power roles when he can. A neat way to set them up for lynching later. The other is Meeko, as I stated multiple times in the game thread itself.
I fully expect to be laughably wrong on both of them though.
For what it’s worth, this bystander agrees with you on Meeko. It’s kind f unfortunate that his established playing style has made him lynch-proof. If it does turn out that he’s scum in this game, however, that may change.
From what I’ve seen of Meeko, I’m not sure if he can handle lying very well. He seems to bend over backwards to say things that are technically true. If he’s scum, he’s gotten amazingly better since last time. (Although he’s not doing to badly as town, now that he is taking his time.)
Oh, and I think NAF could be a third-party/PFK bomber* type. He is ridiculously over-powered to be town or scum, and seems too dismissive of the ability for town to lose.
*If I understand the terminology correctly, a bomber is somebody who marks his victims without them knowing, and wins if he can mark everybody.
He’s not as powerful as you seem to think he is. That’s not to say he’s necessarily Town, but I think he’s…not necessarily lying but being less than truthful about his abilities in order to draw scum fire.
Hey Mahaloth, I know you’ve been around, you planning on approving my spoiler account?
I think they’re all now ignoring the fact that they have a known Miller in the setup which should indicate a Godfather. Don’t implicitly trust a Town investigation now!
