P.S. Anthracite thank you for your kind offer. I forget that you had the old smilies at the Unaboard. When I mentioned to TubaDiva that I didn’t know where to find the vBulletin 1.x smilies, with her superior searching skills she found them in less than 5 minutes. But next time I’ll keep you in mind!

They aren’t showing up in colour for me! I still have stupid old drab yellow. Is this a browser thing? I’m using Mozilla 0.9.8 in Linux - please, can it be fixed?!?!

I just tried logging out, and back in (the extent of my problem-solving skills on this one!) and it didn’t work. Is there some sort of setting I can change? I have Mozilla set to “Use web site defaults” or something like that, so that all text and backgrounds show up as the website dictates…
Ok, NOW I’ve exhausted my possible solutions I’ll post this as my own thread in a day or so if no one wanders in and suggests anything…

mnemosyne, try this: Hold the Control (Ctrl) key while clicking the refresh button. Soon, you should be copacetic.
If that doesn’t work, use the Direct Method [sup]TM[/sup] and take an axe to the contents of your browser’s cached files.
Or you can just wait a while until the cached images expire and your browser grabs the new ones.
But we both know that isn’t an option.

It was actually kind of cute in a way… reminded me of the Bash Brothers (or whatever they were called) in those old Super Mario[sup]TM[/sup] games… you know, those little Koopas with the hammers that they would throw down at you in hopes of killing you with a well-aimed hit! I never was much good at those games, but they were still fun to play. At least until I got tired of dying like 100 times in a row! :eek:
