It is so monochromist of you all not to even think of my pain, and to gloat at such length about these damned colour smilies, no wonder the board is so slow, all that colour takes up extra bandwidth you know.

Redboss, you are not alone: Who decided red means “stop” and green means “go”?

But it’s rare to find someone so colorblind they can’t tell bright red and bright green apart. Usually they only have trouble with pastels or in dim light. If all else fails they can fall back on the knowledge that on most stoplights red is on top.

Cecil speaks from personal experience. You’d never want to take me hunting for wild raspberries in the forest. But I can tell when the damn traffic lights say stop.

Ok, maybe my cache got cleared overnight, or when I logged out of my account or something, but now the smilies are coloured again - well, most of them.

:mad: :o aren’t the right colours. They’re still pale yellow. Anyone know why? And IIRC these three: ;j :wally are the proper colours, but all in all, it’s still way too much yellow, IMHO

Are we still looking for the correct ones, or is this now a browser problem?

gah! I even tried the ctrl advice given above, and nothing changed, and now all of a sudden ALL the smilies are different colours again! Am I the only one having such issues? Should I find a shrink…?
