Having just read “The Linking Limerick Game” i have decided to plagiurise the idea (sorry EddyTeddyFreddy but an amazing idea like that warrants a rip off no?)
so this is the format, much like the linking limerick game you write a haiku and in it (underlined, italicised or emoboldened) include a single word idea for the next haiku on the board.
For anyone who doesn’t know what a haiku is it is a piece of three line poetry which has a certain number of syllables in each line: 5 in the first line
7 in the second line
5 in the third line
heres the first one to start it off:

Spreading a link game BigDaiv beat me to the punch!
I’d planned to start one.
No, truly – I’d been thinking about doing a linking haiku game ever since the Linking Limerick game did so well. Good on you, BigDaiv, for getting it rolling!
My suggestion: The old word be in italics, the new word in bold.
For an extra challenge, if two people simulpost haikus on one word, the next poster try to work in both of the new links.
