The Happy Haiku Game

redoubling my chance
of a high post count requir’s
lots of time and work

A haiku requires
Lapidary attention
To every line.

All good Haiku are
Lapidary like gemstones
Pollished 'til perfect

Polished was the gem,
the gem of her soul to him.
Treasure to his heart

her body; treasure
her heart and soul pure crystals
too perfect for us

Pure as driven snow:
White, soft, glistening, a shroud
Of wind-blown silence.

silence is golden
truer words were never said
music is as bright

True, truer, truest:
Are there shades of truth in truth?
Is it absolute?

Absolute zero –
It can’t get any colder,
Or so Kelvin said.

Colder than ice
Is the unfeeling heart that
Turns kindness away.

Kindness done to me?
Adding a letter to Nine
hurt my soul… real bad. sniff

the hurt and the pain
is how we measure our lives
is that all there is?

Measure for measure*;
An eye for an eye? There must
Be a better way.

can we just accept
the better of two evils?
have we a third choice?

Evil’s day is done.
Nazis have been defeated.
1945.

Dirty Mind
leads in only one ugly
direction straight down

“when one evil goes
a more powerful one comes”
yin yang says it’s true

Evil defeated?
For now; yet the future holds
New battles for good.

my bolded word was powerful which puts up in a simulpost position

words are good and powerful

bubble butt I am
But a bubble butt can sit
Hard on your small face
