it works
I’m should be doing something but I’m not doing anything
unless testing your website counts as something
Hi Moooom, Google found you. The website works, but I don’t need a quote.
Mrs. L.A. is a foot care nurse. She’s watching a program called My Feet Are Killing Me.

Oh. My. God.
My decor mostly came down and put up before New years day.
Someone send me good vibes, gotta wash my hair. My arms are really not much use over my head so I have lean over to wash this mop. I usually like someone in the house in case I pinch off the artery by my PICC line and topple over. Big Wrek is around the place somewhere. I texted DIL. She’ll check back and make I’m upright.
In other news the lil’wrekker had a class at University that was overbooked. They separated them alphbetically and she has to move. She’s melting down because she’s worked ahead and has already did a paper and an outline on another. I told that girl her over-achieving tendencies would get her one day. Why didn’t she get some of her Moms lazy-assed genes?
So Sahirrnee, does decluttering for someone else give one the same relief as decluttering one’s own closets? Hope your friend is reveling in the orderliness and extra space.
Johnny LA, what microscopic snow we got here melted immediately. I guess Wednesday night is the inundation of as much as a whole inch.
Beck, clean hair isn’t worth toppling over. Can’t it wait until DIL can help you?
A sad day today. My son and his wife adopt older dogs. They’ve had one since he was 9, and he’s now 16±-ancient for a lab. I’ve had dogs and loved them dearly, but this guy’s been extra special. The vet will be helping him across the rainbow bridge in a few hours. We’ll all miss him so. Dang. Crying already.
heh i have to fix my feet someday … We’re right in the middle of Xmas demolition …finished the kitchen almost done with the living room and haven’t started the hall and outside
actually, our neighborhood is heavily Hispanic so a lot of houses have christmas style of lights done in pink and purple … i mentioned why not just keep ours up … just got a look …
Now i gotta take out all the stuff we moved yo get to the Xmas stuff and put it back in …long day
ahead if we get ambitious…
We barely got any snow here either. It sounds like they got more down south. But it’s still 20º outside, so the neighbourhood streets are shiny. I’ll have to bring the hummingbird feeder in again soon to thaw.
Sorry to hear about the dog. Tonka the cat is 16 and slowing down.
Nellie: hair is washed. No falling over. Now, to dry it with no arms over my head.:smack:
Poor puppy. He’ll meet my old Rat Terrier up there. She liked playing chase with big dogs. She was fast and tricky. They’ll be playing tonight. {{{Hugs sweety}}} (:()
Oh, yeah…talking of holidays being over, I got a Christmas Card in the mail today. Someone didn’t mail their cards in time. It was postmarked Dec. 24. :smack:
You may not need one, but you’re getting one:
Thanks, all for verifying. I took **FCD **off wifi and he gets his email, so that’s something.
Waiting for ravioli to boil, then supper. I’s hongreee!!!
A plump little hummingbird was trying in vain to get a drink. The nectar was frozen. It didn’t fly away until I reached up for the feeder. The back-left element of the stove gets hot when the oven is on. I put a pie tin of hot water over it, and put the feeder in it. I’ll bring the feeder in tonight, and Mrs. L.A. will put it out when she gets up. She can’t reach the hook, so she’ll just put it on a little stool.
Mom- i want ravioli. Save me a bite!
My supper is cooked. Butter beans, corn bread, left over ribs. Mr.Wrekker just walked in. Yay! He’ll eat early and go to his Joint for fun and games with the guys.
Johnny- taking care of the littlest beasties is so nice. My bird feeders are really getting a work out. I fill them every morning. As soon as me the dogs wander off, the birds swoop in for breakfast.
Howdy all. Has been a damn nightmare in Butter land. Last Thursday night after the shocking treatment hubby had a bad reaction to the new medicine and wound up in ICU with acute liver failure. He is recovering now and is out of ICU. He will stay in hospital until about Thursday to finish getting all those liver values back to normal. I have been living at the hospital. His daughter flew in to help. I am home tonight as I just can’t go another night without some decent sleep. They almost killed him though unintentionally.
I didn’t want to write it or speak it lest it would make it more real. The cardiologist said in 20 years he’s only ever had a couple of these and it could have been lethal.
That living in the hospital business is so very hard. Still need good thoughts and prayers please.
I had to do several things NOT recommended but I got the Sportie fired over, ran it a while, gassed it up and got it back in the garage and under plastic after it cooled.
Butters - prayers continue to ascend.
I also threw a cup of birdseed out for the cheepie-birds.
I think next year I’ll get a heated hummingbird feeder.
{{{{Butters}}}} - best thoughts to you and yours.
sari, removing the clutter from the premises is something that I learned from helping get things cleaned up when my grandad was old. If you didn’t take it away, it was right back in the house the next time you went over.
Johnny, GMTA. I had leftover meatloaf for supper this evening.
Hugs to you and your son nellie. It’s never easy, but sometimes, it’s the last kindness that we can do for our four legged buddies.
When I decorated for Christmas, I tended to follow the schedule that I grew up with: decorate Thanksgiving weekend, except for the tree (live ones and all), put up the tree the second Sunday of Advent and take everything down at Epiphany.
Got my friend to Nashville and back for his eye appointment. I forgot to pick up my prescription when I got back until I had changed into jammies, so I’ll do that after irk tomorrow. I swung by a couple of Goodwill stores to see if they had any small tables (chairs I can find to go with once I find a table) and was SOL. I did, however, spend a whopping $13 on a whole mess of classical music CDs for irk. (they block streaming on our desktops, phones and wi-fi enabled mp3 players can’t be brought through security…and we’re a tech outfit :smack: ).
It’s back to irk tomorrow. Next week will be my first full week since the full week before Christmas.
ETA: {{{butters and hubby}}}
Hello troops. Lotta chores today.
Bought a new toilet. The old one was consuming a lot of water with multiple flushes. I did some research before buying. They actually rate the force to make the stuff go down. Bought the best. Skimpy on water. And the seat doesn’t slam down. Goes down quietly. I am excited. The plumber will install it Thursday. Big expense to put in my rental room.
Then off to the feed store. The markets don’t carry the good stuff. And only the best for Kiko and the cats.
Then the paint store. Since the old toilet will be removed, it would be an opportunity to paint behind it. Has never been painted since the first toilet was installed. Here they don’t install toilets with bolts. Just cement.
Off to the pharmacy. Mondays everything is 25% off. And I needed some Ibuprofen. Carrying the dog food, paint for four kilometers hurt my back.
Johnny LA very cool to have a hummingbird family. My friends had one under their porch. It was very entertaining. And the chicks are cute little shits!
Taking down my Christmas stuff was easy. One of my third grade students painted a xmas tree seven year ago. I hang it up with a magnet on my fridge every year.
Butters, what a story. Hope hubby comes home soon.
Happy to be home. Will be happier when the Ibuprofen kicks in.
I want to shove a pack of cigarettes in my mouth and smoke them all at once. G-d d@mn it.
Butters, prayers said for you and hubby. WTF is wrong with hospitals? Rhetorical question.
