The I Got Called Out During The Sermon MMP

Today is boring. I am listening to Bill Nye and Ken Ham debate the viability of creationism. The amount of WTF-face I’ve made this afternoon will fulfill my quota for the year.

I will have to try that method of computer repair.

It was a challenging day at work as I kept messing things up. Thank goodness for quitting time!

We’re about to head to Waldork for supper and a few errands. Yay! Back later.

Way to go, swampy!

Yes, I’m finally making it to the MMP on Wednesday. Not much to say here, it was a snow day so I stayed home and worked on fork stuff. Back to work tomorrow.

Soon RT will be home. Yay!

Yeah, the rugby doesn’t care, but they share the pitch with the footballers, who take a dim view of their pitch being trashed, so the last two matches had been called off.

Busy day doing touristy things with my friend, and up early tomorrow for Birmingham. Mum’s taken the opportunity to suddenly tell me to bring several things I have no possible way of getting before tomorrow. Oh well.

We lose a tree very year.
Number three took out part of our retaining wall and hit the neighbor’s house during the ice storm. It was hardly worth being called a storm.
I’ve been home today talking to insurance folks, contractors and the neighbor, trying to figure out how many Seven-Elevens I’m going to have to knock over.
It’s a lot.

Over on FB, Midget requested a joke. I had a good one that was too long to type, and it would not post in the edit box. I present it to her here instead.

Hit the Banks, you gotta go to the source.

I am seriously contemplating doing something I shouldn’t. If she keeps staring at me like that all bets are off and probably mixed into a pile of hastily discarded clothing.

Just be certain that your penicillin and rabies shots are up to date.

Dindin is et. Sketties was gooooooooo! Tonight is Evening Prayer over to the church house but I’m not goin’ cause I’s tahrd and don’t wanna get out of da cave tonight.

My research today has resulted in the conclusion that if one calls into question a computer’s lineage, said computer will then behave itself.

I got off work early yesterday because of the snow, and was also off today. Thirteen inches of snow, even in a city that has winter, can slow things down. I had to leave the house today, and leaving wasn’t so hard, as all I had to do was back down from my parking spot beside the house.

However…getting back to that spot was hard, given the snow pack and the short amount of space I have to zoom into it. Four tries, and then, with some shoveling, the fifth try was the charm.

There are some Mexican roofers working across the street.
For the first time in my life, I heard a Spanish speaking person say, “Aye carramba!”
Which means what, “It’s Miller time!” or “Screw the little guy taking his dogs out to pee.” ?

Home from erranding and supper at Famous Dave’s. It’s cold, but no precip, so huzzah and all that. Now, if we could just get Firday to hurry and get here.

I went to bed early last night, and I would like to do the same tonight - almost 8 hours uninterrupted is muy bueno!

It is the nice way to say, #€£±¤&%^¿¡

On the other note, she is young but legal and a coworker. I am also kinda her boss and mentor.

2/3 of our county is w/o power, including some of the emergency shelters.
Shelters don’t have backup generators? :dubious:

Cap’n, bad news, we lost one of our potential (& largest) delivery devices

Worked, came home, Making Asian BBQ chicken and lemongrass rice for dinner.

for dinner

: gently massages rosie’s hurts :

Just don’t go to Mr. Donner’s party on the next block. And Gordie’s hair follows me to work. SWAG: The shelter locatiosn are based on human capacity, not power redundancy.

mmmmmmmm…Habenero breakfast…

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Drats thwarted again

::shuffles back to lab to, once again, rework evil plans::

Jim

Cap’n
That balloon, while having lots of lifting capacity woulda been a real [del]bitch[/del] pain to fly as it’s not designed for free flight. We can still use a hot-air balloon (provided you can get propane). It means less sharks per trip, but then we’ll probably be below the threshold that Greenpeace will notice what we’re doing, which may end up making us better off in the long run.
Doggio,

Spidey I am a Texan, we treat Greenpeas just slightly better than Russians and French do.
