Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN 'Tis 38 Amurrkin out with a high of around 70 for the day. Spring is in the air! So is the pollen. The tree orgy is in full swing!
gotti  indeed! Unfortunately oncology is right spendy. However, gettin’ DH all well is the important thing.
Yay for the Tot bein’ home Taters!
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, well, who knows. No big plans. N.O.L. at the good Chinese place is on the agenda. I should also spend some time defilthyfyin’ da cave.
I need this day to get better. I can just tell that if I don’t work very hard that it’s going to go downhill very fast. Waking up having an anxiety attack is one indicator of this. It’s a beautiful day and I’d rather just hide under the covers. Ugh.
It’s gonna be a loooooooooong day. Idiot dog woke me around 3:30. At least she peed when I let her out. (**FCD **was zonked out on meds - he feels better today, I’m in zombie mode.)
We had breakfast in Leonardtown then came home and hooked up the mower to the sucker/vac. Our worker couple is here clearing the downed trees, and they hope the get the fence up today also - yay! The dishwasher is running - I should have done that last night. I’ve swept the deck and I’m about to go rake the leaves away from the house in the back so I can vac/mulch them. If I have any energy left, I’ll try to do the same out front. We shall see. I’ve also got laundry to do, and I should run the vacuum in here.
So much for resting. Stoopit dog.
**Taters **- yay for some time off! And yay for children returning!
**gotti **- suddenly I have a mental image of you in nurse’s whites, 40s vintage. You need to straighten the seam on your hose.
**kai **- I forgot to say, but hi!! And be careful gardening, sheesh!
Hugs to all. And with that, I’m back to work. Happy Saturday!!
I was up at 6:45 this morning. I consider that sleeping in. But, I got up, made some coffee, and have been cruising the 'net. I’m going go upstairs and shower in about half an hour and take my filthy rig down to the car wash. After that, depending on what time it is, I’ll head to Costco and face the Saturday hordes.
My son is still upstairs sleeping and my husband just came down. Luckily for him, I didn’t drink all the coffee, although I was very tempted to do just that.
Those crazy dogs sure were happy to my son last night. They just love their boy.
AWWWWWWW taters I bet the doggies were happy. Bet son was just as happy to see them as well.
Back from an early N.O.L. and a foray to the grocery sto for sallit ingredients. I have chikin strips marinatin’ to be grilled and sliced over a spinach sallit with strawberries, grape ‘maters and seedless red grapes with feta cheeze crumbles and a raspberry vinegarette dressin’. Might even throw in some chopped pee-kahns. 'Twill be a nice, easy, nummy dindin.
Ok, I suppose I should start cave defilthyfyin’. Sigh.
I’m at the laundromat. I was chatting with Hockey Lady:), and getting an update on the dogs and horses and ducks and chickens. I may start calling her “Ellie Mae”
The Eels are on their way to Europe, I am jealous. 29 shows in 5 weeks, mostly in places I have never been. Several night stands in Amsterdam, London and a few other places. Bwah I want to go. They did make sure that I knew they liked me and got all my contact info, so possibly next time around, we shall see. Ready to get on the road. Enough of that.
Up caffinating and working with the hippies tonight
And why not?? What’s it to you?
All the leaves from the back gardens are mulched and dumped in the woods to rot. Yay! I haven’t decided if I’m going to do the front yard now or leave it for tomorrow. **FCD **and daughter will be doing a ride to Annapolis with the Harley guys - I think I’ll take advantage of their absence and do the front yard. Sounds like a plan. That’ll give me 2 days in a row of fresh air and sunshine!
I need to make a recycling run also. Our trash cans aren’t full, but I’ve got 3 bags of recycling that I can just toss in my car and take.
Anyone else here watched/watching House of Cards on Netflix? We just watched episode 11 last night - I am loving that series! Wonder when the next season will be available? I think they’re shooting it now. Anyway, I can highly recommend it - and Kevin Spacey is amazing!
Wheee! I just had a look at our health insurance website. Less than $200 to go on the out of pocket max. AFAIK, blood costs about $1000 per unit, which is still cheaper per ounce than printer ink.
