I figured out what to do with the leftover beer, obviously. VWife found a recipe for a beer marinated pork loin in an Honest To Og NASCAR cookbook.
We decided to go out for supper, and we went back to the new Japanese sushi place. We each got a Bento Box - OMG - *soooooooooooooooooooo *good!! I’s stuffded!!! Then we ran over to the pharmacy to pick up FCD’s meds, and now we’re home vegging. Knittage will ensue shortly.
I will be without adult supervision tomorrow - there’s a charity bike ride going… somewhere and ending up at an ice cream place. I swear, this is the ice-cream-eatin’-est group you’d ever wanna see! I’m staying home, altho with luck, I’ll get to do some crab monitoring. Otherwise, who knows - maybe laundry??

We’ve got a hot day in store. I have no real plans. The only crabber on the list so far is someone I already monitored, so unless someone new decides to go out, I won’t be going out today. Monday starts a new cycle, and for the first week at least, chances of catching someone are better, altho it’ll be my sweetie most of the time, since I’ll be back in cubicle land.
My mom is sending me some money to buy yarn - apparently my purple shawls are popular among elderly Ravens fans. It turns out JoAnn’s had a sale with free shipping that ended last night, and I was able to order what I wanted and save a bunch, so yay! Except I just realized that I forgot to go thru Ebates. dammit.

Oh, I forgot… I got accepted to the big show! This is awesome news but sort of puts me into panic and scramble mode. Now I need to go out and gather silverware and make a bunch of stuff. So, RT and I are going to hit the flea market and my favorite antique store today and then I’m going to meet his sister tonight. It should be an interesting day!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a steamy and foggy 76 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 91 and probable rain/tstorms/apocalypse this afternoon. Last night we had a hyuuuuuuuuuuuuuge tstorm. Lots o’ loud thunder and really vivid lightnin’. It put me to sleep. I lurve to go sleepy bye durin’ a tstorm.

Soon I shall go crank up the smoker. I’m not as ambitious as BBBobbio and lieu so all I’m smokin’ up is chikin boobs and laigs. Still ‘twill be a nummy supper. In addition there will be baked beans, corn sallit, garlic bread and red velvet cake. All prepared by the lovin’ hands of da bear. Oh and stuffed jalapeno peppers to munch on. Plus, of course, ice cold beerverages. There shall also be margaritas I hear but since I ain’t makin’ ‘em I shall leave that up to those who desire. I will let my blender be used if’n frozen ones are desired. That says a lot cause y’all know how I am about folks foolin’ around with my kitchen. :eek:
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, smokeage must get goin’ as soon as it’s light enough to see out on the deck. I must also purtify as guests must see a well-groomed host!

I’ve got a hazy patio too. Wish I could sleep late but Saturdaze I usually wake at 5:00 thinking about what kind of wood and rubs I’m gonna use so I just go ahead and get started. Had to use one of those ballcap flashlights this am. Oh, not chicken tenders but quarters. Smokin a tender would be… silly. Put some chipotle venison sausage on too. No way we can eat all this so I’m gonna make some friendly deliveries this afternoon.

Well it should be but I’m kind of grumpy.
I woke up too early again today and to many nights of not enough sleep makes me irritable.
However I should be happy because the HFH is gone and my mother and her bf are leaving for WVa in an hour or so.
It’s a muggy 76 outside with a projected high of 87.
I started sitting piddle pup yesterday and she is living up to her name.
I start another set of dogs this evening and then tomorrow the girl next door is going with me to learn the ropes. I can’t sit all day with piddle pup. I stayed with her an hour this am and still couldn’t get her outside.
