Today is Clean the Stately Manor Day and Try Out the New Borrowed Drillbit Day. I plan on returning the drill to the Maintenance Guys today, so I hope it works this time.

Got two text from my butt recipients. They went crazy over the delectability, tenderness and flavor of my butt. Oh yeah, they also said it had really good bark.

I did a spinach and tomato omelet with rosemary pepper turkey bacon for brunch. Laundromat time!
We had a productive morning. After breakfast at Bert’s, we drove down to the base where I’ll be working, or I should say *I *drove so I could time the trip. With no traffic, it was about 35 minutes, and considering how early I plan to be driving down there, I figure 45 minutes at the outside to get to the building. The only slow part is going thru St. Mary’s City because the road bisects the college campus and it drops to 30 MPH. I don’t expect to see students up and about before 6:30 in the morning, but who knows…
We came back via WalMart and I stocked up on yogurt and some lunch items. I’ll make a pile of sammiches on Monday evening, so packing lunch will be easy. I figure I can deal with my usual morning routine plus have some breakfast before I have to leave. I’ll take the yogurt for a mid-morning snack, since eating before 6 means I’ll be starving long before lunch time. Except for picking out what I plan to wear the first day, I thing I’m good to go! 
As for the rest of today, dunno. I’ll figger it out.

Glad I am indoors for the rest of the day.
I finished with watching piddle pup and my other client cancelled because they had problems with their boat so no more pet sitting this weekend. I should start irking but I think a nap first. I’ve been getting only 5 hours sleep and I am one of those people who needs a good 7 or 8 to function.
lieu, don’t you think you’d be lots happier living in southern Merrylande?? I know I’d be lots happier if you lived near me.

I burned my foots yesterday. We went to the bitch. I was (kinda) smart & put on suntan lotion, but my bitch-shoes (so you don’t get cut on broken shell pieces) are very open on top. Guess where I forgots to put suntan lotion? :smack: They have a weird burn pattern on them & hurt.
For the first time, I made it thru Aug w/o AC.
Carpets are done. Time for the celebratory nap.
Major projects for today: deheathenizing and figuring out what is going on with that deranged cat. 
Laundry’s been done, holes have been drilled, drill has been returned, Stately Manor has been tidied, and NOS* plant has been thinned out. I got all this done just in time for the Big Black Cloud of Doom to show up to the north. Looks like we’re about to strangle some frogs up in here!
