One of these would be nice. Wildlife is always too far away and the light is always bad. But at $7600 and 12 pounds(!), I’d have to be a professional photographer to justify it.

Nahh… if you want a long lens, get alon-n-n-g lens. Breaks the bank and your back - 36 pounds of glass in that thing. But if you can afford it, you’ll have one of only about a dozen ever built.

No, no. You don’t want one of those. They have a minor flaw of the wings pulling off. I was one of the last people to do aerobatics in them before the FAA put a stop to it. Not sure if that status has changed, but either way, if money is no object, I’d suggest an L-39!

Then, after getting some experience in that, move up to a MiG or a Sabre!

I found Bring A Trailer a while ago, and there are a number of cars I’ve found that I would love to have in the garage. Corvairs, Volvos, Alfas (hey this is just dreaming, right?), well, honestly, any European car I’ve never heard of, 60s US muscle cars, old trucks, I’d love to have any of them. Or maybe just one.

Sadly, my budget does not have room for any additional investments in birding, but I will keep those in mind when I am able to upgrade.
