The I'm up early on my day off MMP

Mom, you forgot about ryan and mcconnell. The meteor absolutely must get ryan and mcconnell. Otherwise the terrorists will have won!

All you sickies get well! Now! and Sunny, I think you need a new doctor.

Spidey, Avast is good, but Norton and McCafee are the work of the devil. I don’t know who owns them now but they went to Hell shortly after symantic bought them.
Oh, and re: ginger beer and vodka, you forgot the lime juice.

Baker, I have BPPV. You might find it helpful to look up the Epley Maneuver. Seriously. WebMD talks about having your doctor do it but you can do it yourself, lying on your bed (or someplace comfortable). It has helped me a number of times.

You know, sometimes I worry that people will think I’m just an attention whore 'cause whenever someone says they have something I pipe up and say “I have that too!” but I really do. Honest. And I wouldn’t wish my body on anybody. Well, I might wish my body was on Kristin Chenowith, but…I need to stop now.

I fear a meteor big enough to take out all of the evils of the Party Of Trump may have unwanted collateral damage. Remember how close I live to the DC metro area…

I used Avast for a while, but I got rid of it - it was more of a nuisance than I wanted to deal with.

Incidentally, **Bumba **- how about hot flashes? You get them too? :stuck_out_tongue:

My work day is just about over. Huzzah! My brain is well and truly fried, but I got a lot done, so yay! Time to do my time card, I guess. Then home.

Veggies are in the oven and I peeled the shrimpies. Got some good crusty bread as well. Dindin shall be tasty.

Mooommm - option 1, take a long weekend somewhere west.

option 2, take one for the team. We’ll miss ya.

Maybe it can be a little, teeny, tiny targeted meteor that just lands right on the inaugural dias area. That should get the folks that count, right?

I think I’m even closer to DC than you are FCM. I was surprised to find out I’m closer to DC than to Baltimore.
I can handle Baltimore. I can’t imagine anything that would entice me to go to the traffic hell hole that is DC.
Make it a small meteor.

I took a little nap, then had ham and peas for lunch. The leftovers will be dinner.

It’s still gloomy outside.

Well, the Food Lion brand of au gratin N.O.T. is pretty nasty. I won’t be buying that stuff again. Aldi’s store brand, tho, is quite good. Anyway, supper has been ingested and as soon as I load the dishwasher, I’ll assume the crochet position again. I’m liking the use-up-scrap-yarn afghan - it’s going fast and it’ll be very colorful and very warm.

And so goes Tuesday.

{{Baker}} Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Not as you know them, no. But when my blood sugar goes wonky I can get a momentary feeling of heat. Now aren’t you glad you asked?

I use AVG and Malwarebytes. Yes, AVG nags me to buy the paid version, but if that’s the worst thing that happens to me, I’m having a good day.

It’s seriously raining out there now. I don’t know if it’s freezing rain though. It’s 33 amerikun right now. I’m having a late lunch, and then, who knows?

Happy Wednesday! Yesterday did sucketh mightily - it was about 32C/90F and ridiculously humid, plus Babygirl had one of those “I’m a troublemaker” days, where she just made a mess all day, refused to nap, and threw tantrums every half hour, just because she’s 2. Then the ground chicken/chicken mince that I cooked up for tacos smelled odd (like fish), so I had to bin it and reheat some cooked sausages to use as taco filling.

Today, we take HRH’s school supplies in to her school, before they start the new school year next Monday. Plus her feet have grown over the summer, so we need to go buy her new shoes.

Lunch will be from the food court at the maul, then dinner will be quiche lorraine, with roasted broccoli and corn on the cob.

rosie’s sig to all.

I went to Herr Doktor; my first doc there retired about two years ago. The other doc was a young guy who I liked but since 4-5 months ago when I was last there he’s moved outta state. I think the new doc was okay (felt too shitty to care) but I have no real connection to them any more, & they’re even part of a big corporate horsepistol practice, meaning they’re just employees & not owners… Any way, I have a professional medical opinion that I look like chit! :o :frowning:
Picked up the proscriptions, came home & took them & an Advil for the fever. I’m not as achy but the temp has gone up a °+. :smack:

Dindin was excellent if’n I do say so myself. Plus, there was apple pie and ice cream. OK, I picked up the pie at the Pubic sto’ deli. Still I had to slice and heat it so it was kinda sorta like cookin’ in that it required effort and heat.

{{{CupCakes}}} feel better soonest.

Spidey glad you got the necessary drugs.

Ack Spidey you sound sick. Please take care and take your meds.

Tonight I am preparing steak and mashed potatoes. Boy child is happy (it’s his favorite). Although I just glanced outside and thought, hmm, it’s raining. I don’t really feel like dealing with the grill. Might have to improvise with high heat sear and low heat oven finish. He bought that the last time I tried it, so I think we’ll give it a go.

No freezing rain here either, but apparently it’s cold. I am covered in 3 cats and one dog. If I could figure out how to stack them vertically, that would be lovely. Unfortunately, if you wrap cats on your shoulders, they dig their claws in when you move. Not a good result.

Happy Toesday!

I took my car to the Fixit Shop today to get the check engine light fixed. They said bad words to me. Words like :eek:catalytic converter:eek: and :eek:head gasket. The catalytic converter has to be fixed because I have to pass inspection. The rest will be done a piece at a time (and at a cheaper place).

Got breathing test results today. They say everything is normal. On one hand, that sounds good. On the other hand, it means nobody knows what’s wrong with me and I’m apparently a medical mystery - well okay, that’s just my own loopy interpretation.

Band rehearsals start again tomorrow. I wonder if we’ll have any new members.

I worked, walked Gordie and napped. The laudry is doing better than the Canes at the moment. :smack:

{{{{Cupckaes}}}}

Midget, I’m a mystery, too. I’m even in a medical textbook.

**Feel better, Spidey.

Dotty, bummer abut the kid. And the tacos.

Just cruising through. I have to teach safety school at work the next two days using the new slide/image presentation.

I wasn’t told this until I was leaving tonight.

I did not know there was a new presentation.

I will learn it (off the clock of course) and be terrific at it but …

Have I ever mentioned our Very Unofficial Motto of Da Jungle?

:smack:

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Long day today, but it’s my Firday.

This business of waking before 4AM is not fun. Especially when I can’t fall back to sleep. I fear it’s gonna be a long day.

I’d say c’mon Firday, but I don’t want this Firday to come… ever!

Happy Wednesday, anyway.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 63 Amurrkin out and very, very, very foggy with a predicted high of 74 and mostly N.O.S. for the day. We may have rain/tstorms/apocalypse beginnin’ sometime tomorrow and lastin’ through the weekend. We shall see.

This mornin’ I shall accompany JDD to large and in charge Parrot, Jawja. We will pick up and dispose of limbs that have fallen in the yahd at his ‘rents house. Afterwards, we shall clean up and go have N.O.L. at a really good Mexican place in large and in charge Dawson, Jawja and go see his ‘rents in the nursin’ home. That’ll keep me outta trouble most of the day. Dindin shall be rotissed chikin and sides from the deli at the Pubic sto’. No cook night at da cave. I shall also attend Evening Prayer over to the church house.

Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should get movin’ and be ready to head out. We won’t head out until around nine cause the fog should be lifted by then.

Happy Hump Day Y’all!

Happy Hump Day!

I woke up too early but I can’t blame it on the cat - this time.

It’s a foggy 41 degrees outside, supposed to get up to 51.

Damn cat ran outside when I let the dog in this morning. I didn’t see him *quietly *sneak up to the door, usually he runs for the door and sounds like an elephant pounding through the kitchen. He didn’t stay out long. I went out to get him and he went off exploring. As soon as I came in to warm up some canned food to entice him, I heard a banging at the door and he was demanding to be let in.
Something spooked him I think, it took him a while to calm down after he got in.

The microwave is back to working, which is a good thing.

Lots to do today, probably most of it won’t get done.
