The kaboom mmp

I didn’t know flytrap narrated videos.

Better than going there & getting crabs.

She wouldn’t do that to Randolph Scott!

Given how it’s about lunchtime, I thought you might like to see a bear raidin’ the fridge.

I do!

I handed Pepper-pup off to my daughter at 5:30 this morning. I had an insomniac night and needed a little sleep. Fortunately she lurves the little thing. She looked happy (!) even.

This is Pepper trying to sneak up on Kona, my Swissy. He doesn’t want to play with her, which is :(. She waits until he is asleep, then crawls up next to him and goes to sleep too.

Today I have packages to mail, a form to send to my disability attorney, and some picking up to do. Cleaning folks are starting on Monday. They will be on regular rotation and the house will be kept picked up by golly!

Dinner I was thinking of a chicken, but I didn’t get it out of the freezer in time. I can nukulate it to defrost, or come up with a new plan.

Libertarian. Not that different but still …

(On an unrelated note ---- back when brass tacks with the images of various animals you had killed were popular, one of the cousins started making ones with the Hammer & Sickle for the guys of Grand-dad’s generation. So they could mark their count on the old rifles they carried out of the Old Country.)

That’s OK ---- we don’t mind when Plant loses.
Lunch was fun. One thing with Da Jungle is that unless you’ve spent time there most of the conversation doesn’t make sense. At least former co-workers and co-workers understand the pain.

I left work early, then came home and took **FCD **to lunch at Red Robin - as a Vet, I get 20% off this month, so the discount covered the tip. Now we’re home and I’ve got to decide how to spend my afternoon. I’m thinking wiggin’ it in front of Netflix is a plan. I had an interrupted night, so I’s tahred.

Speaking of idiot cats, between the time I left for work and when **FCD **got up, Taz took it upon himself to knock everything off the side table where I crochet - the ceramic bowls that hold yarn balls, the hooks, the tissue box, the chopsticks (they’re actually for another craft, but they ended up on that table) and even the placemat. Then when he knocked it all to the floor, he batted things around all over the place. Idiot feline!!!

That on top of him getting spooked last night and launching himself off my left bicep. I have 4 lovely claw cuts to show for it. Idiot feline… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m guessin’ he’s a Whiskypalian bear who found an unopened bottle of wine in the fridge and opened the drawer to look for a corkscrew.

Rats! I know I posted in here yesterday, but it’s gone!
Yes, I look for my own posts. That’s how I know where I left off.

It was incredibly witty and urbane too. Suave even! You would have been overwhelmed with joy at the fact that you know me.
I think I’m beginning to channel trump.

I’ve read everything but retained little, so Rosie’s sig to all.

Tomorrow we are driving down to Springfield, OR for a memorial BBQ in honor of Wifey’s sister. It’s nothing compared to driving from Merrieland to Flawida, but it’s tedious just the same. But the BBQ will be a good time.

I’ve changed my mind about Domino’s pizza. It’s really quite tasty, even though they are pretty stingy with their toppings. I went and bought four of them to feed the volunteers hanging the art show for the Lavender Festival. I also got a box of their cinnamon bread twists. :stuck_out_tongue: They were good! Tonight is the artist’s reception, so dinner will be catch-as-catch-can, whatever that means.

Later.

 Now I am worried about you! Have a safe drive tomorrow. Wave as you drive through Albany. The Original Breakfast off the second exit there is the bomb, if you’re hungry.

We have dined upon shrimpies, sallit, and cheesey garlic bread. I just put a peach cobbler in the oven to bake just cause. There’s even niller ice cream to go on top. NUM!!!

Neither of us wants supper after our monster lunch, so no cooking here. Ice cream later, maybe.

I’ve been making wig bits and wigs, using up as many scraps as I can. I almost dozed off a couple of times - I see early bedtime tonight.

So I waited 4 hours, and they never got around to my truck:mad: They are about to lose my business.

Sunny, I’m not sure how Kona can say no. I couldn’t say no to that face.

Peach cobbler 'n niller ice cream have been consumed. YUM!!!

Feel better soon sticky!

sunny, puppies just want to play with everybody.

doggio, the last oil change that I had done before my twuck went byebye, I just threw in the towel and went to  Wally World  .

I irked all day today catching up crap from the near week that I had off. Groceries are bought and put away and salad was supper. I’m going to fart around in the studio and channel surf the rest of the evening.

All I want to know is will my adoption application for Oscar be approved? I might drive up tomorrow morning to see him, the drive is a little over an hour. I talked to the lady at the shelter and she said the application had been recieved and would be reviewed by their board. She agreed that Oscar is a sweet dog, and I told her I loved the picture of him on his back, in “rub my belly” pose. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

I will try and make a Magen David with my fingers.
It is difficult.

I am having a hard time understanding why it’s taking so long. I am impatient for you. If they’ll let you see him, you might as well go. Sometimes being there in person can help move things along…

Nothing worth saying that would justify stalling several posts. Worked, leftovers and a full weekend of house stuff and maybe a days bike riding. Then Monday all Hades starts to break loose at work. Should be very very interesting. Here’s hoping the big seller this year isn’t fire-pits or anything heavy.

Well, I only mailed the application on 7/3, the day before a holiday. You may be thinking of the dog I applied for in Nebraska. After some back and forth they said they didn’t think that one would fit, but would I be interested in this other one? That dog sounded sweet, but was even older that the first one, so I politely declined.

I think I will drive up. As you said making that kind of effort could help.

I’ll think good thoughts for tomorrow!
