Today is the first day of my big show! My dad is going with me which will be nice. He and I are virtually twins separated by 23 years. And, I’ll be able to sneak away here and there and not worry about bathroom breaks!
Last night, I dreamed I was visiting Chez swampy, and it was a bizarre place and circumstance. I’ve been up and about long enough that most details have fled, but I recall OYKW sitting on a couch (he was really young - not a geezer like the bear 
) and something about a photo hanging on the wall, and I think my goofy, gimpy sister was there, too. Dunno, just weird. Like that’s a new thing in my dreams… 
Today is dump day. We’re going to unload the last of the good lumber and stuff from the truck and stow it in the basement wood rack. Then we’ll load the truck with the junk in the trailer and the trash from the basement and other places, and haul it to the landfill. If you have a truckload, it’s $10. If you have the same stuff on a trailer, they charge you by weight, so it ends up being more. Ergo, we’ll load it into the truck.
I went to bed all discouraged because my Nats were down 4-1 in the 8th inning. **FCD **just informed me that they tied it up in the 9th and went ahead in the 10th! Yay, Murphy!!! (the player, not the guy with the law.)

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN 'Tis 71 Amurrkin out and N.O.S. with a predicted high of 93 and a fifty percent chance of p.m. rain/tstorms/apocalypse. We shall see. Quality time at the cee-mint pond may or may not happen. Tomorrow we shall be heathens and ride up to Columbus, Jawja to see a friend’s granddaughter who was born in late May. Haven’t had a chance to see her yet so a ride up to visit and N.O.L. at a really good Chinese place there sounds like a good reason for a road trip.

MOOOOOOM OYKW is five months younger than me. He’s more likely to be seen either laid back in a recliner or propped upon the bed. However, you got the part about this bein’ a bizarre place right.
Now I need more caffeine and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I suppose I should purtify and see what the day brings.

Today is Granny’s funeral. Going to be a long day.
I got all my hairs cut yesterday. Now I sport a chin length bob - perfect for summer. 
Pepper puppy slept until 6 am today. :eek: Good puppy!

Back from the dump - yay for being rid of assorted crap!!! I’ve got a load of whites in the washer, since **FCD **asked me to hold off on the sweaty shorts and t-shirts till he’s done working. Next load will be my non-sweaty shorts and tops. Exciting, huh?
Since I go in late, I cleaned the bathroom and kitchen.

I’m up, caffeinating, breakfasted and fixing to get purtified. I need to show up at Tar-jay / CVS to pick up prescriptions, then swing through Lowe’s for three more pavers so’s I don’t miss the edge of the two that I installed last week and break an ankle. After that, I’ll transplant some mint and fix supper (chicken fatteh, rice, cucumber salad and pita).
Beautiful day. Sunny, no humidity, a light wind, 79 degrees. A great day for a horse show. Ariel is being shown today by her young rider. I get to swan around the show grounds, as owners do, hopefully with a cocktail, but more likely Gatorade.

I wish I knew what was going on at the ballpark last night. Padres are in town & it was 80’s/throwback night, & I own a jersey that I could have probably snuck onto the field & not even gotten tossed for doing such because I would’ve blended in.
The last email I sent last night was after 11:30pm & the alarm was (intentionally) set such that when it went off today, the first digit was a 3. :eek:
I did throw a can of Diet Coke in the cooler & did imbibe for lap 2; luckily it’s worn off so as soon as I get thru the shower, I will go train for my other endurance ‘sport’ - napping! 
Felt really good out there today; almost enough to do a 3rd lap; iffn I had more sleep in me, I probably would have gone for it.
Tomorrow I get to sleep in later; now I don’t need to leave the house until 4:45am. :rolleyes:
I just got a happy email.
The shar pei breeder sent me an email that a puppy born on June 27th is available if I want it. I don’t get to pick my puppy as I am 5th on the list and there are 5 puppies, but if I really don’t like it I can wait for the next litter.
As if that will happen.
I know it will be a male, and a fawn brush coat because they are all fawn brush coats, and two females and two males have already been reserved.
Pretty cool because I wanted a brush coat and I prefer a male. I didn’t want a fawn because I would rather have a puppy that doesn’t resemble Mackie, but I’m not going to turn it down because of the color.
I guess I should tell Sah-son.
Howdy Y’all! We were at the cee-mint pond but came in cause it started to thunderate in the distance. Looks like it’s goin’ around us but no biggie. We showered and then went and had a late N.O.L. of burgers, fries, and a beer at the little bar down the road. OYKW is in nap mode and I am in chill mode. All is well.

Managed to stab myself in the wrist with a broken bottle at irk today. Typing with a hand that just had a local anaesthetic and stitches feels weird.
The boss freaked out far more than I did, it was quite funny actually; he gave me a lift to the hospital, but I had to remind him where he’d parked because he was panicking and tried to run off in the wrong direction
The son of a bitch robbed my bank!
But that’s ok, my money is in the Little Rock branch.
