In the Mexican-dubbed Simpsons, do they dub Bumblebee Man into English?
Because that would be funny.

Hahaha, sadly no, he just speaks (what sounds to me, from far away to the south of mexico) a more traditional Mexican spanish instead of the more “neuter” spanish of the rest of the characters.
I’m surprised at how fast paced the show is. I feel like any other show would’ve spent a few days in KC, a couple days in Wyoming, and then another episode just on the journey to Colorado.
I was so relieved when Joel and Ellie left the fort. I was afraid it would be like Alexandria in The Walking Dead and they’d be stuck there for six or seven seasons.
Well I think they are gonna be headed right back there now, no way Ellie tries to continue the trip with a hurt Joel.
It was a five day trip. I don’t think she’s going to get back in time without getting help somewhere else.
So, how smart was it to pull that knife out before getting to safety?
The broken bat handle should have remained in place and been secured until the wound could be cleaned and stitched.
Joel of course should be well aware of that.
Next time I’m stabbed with something in a brutal fight, my adrenalin’s pumping, and the nearest hospital is 20 years away, I like to think I’ll do the logical, rational thing. But I’m not sure I actually would.
It’s the first thing they teach you in Red Cross Wilderness First Aid.
Did anyone here catch the blooper where the film crew can be seen in the background as they main characters cross the bridge?
Seriously, I’ve taken so many first aid classes over the years, and it was in every one of them. Especially the military ones.
He was a combat vet, so would’ve had the training and possibly some practical experience either in service or extremely likely, post apocalypse.
As a contractor he may or may not have had more training. Though Texas might be very slack about it.
Nah, it was Tommy that was the combat vet. Not Joel.
Are you sure? I thought both were?
90%? They call out in the show specifically that Tommy was a vet, I don’t recall hearing anything in the show saying Joel was. In the game, Joel says that he didn’t go to college because he had Sarah very young and hand to pickup carpenter work instead to afford to raise her.
I thought Joel was too, but IIRC the only indication we get about either is the bumper sticker on Tommy’s truck?
Didn’t Joel tell Ellie in a previous episode his brother fought in Desert Storm? I could have sworn I heard that. He even said something like “well that’s what they called it.”. Maybe I am thinking of a different show?
Oh yeah. You’re right, that was this show.
Tommy was the one who needed a “cause”, he was the vet.
I don’t know if this show is better acted or more technically competent than other prestige stuff, but it really presses my emotional buttons.
I am glad we got some of Ellie’s backstory but the Mall exploration was maybe 10% too long. It went from tense and interesting to, “Okay, please let’s just get to fte fireworks factory.” But still a good episode.
