OK, if there are any fans left, the season finale - and since it has been canceled, the series finale - is tonight.
Oh, no, cancelled for good? I love that show! I think I’ve seen all but two or three episodes.
Has it been canceled? Last week they were advertising it as the season finale.
This site is reporting that it has been canceled.
Apparently ABC is in negotiations to continue original Reaper episodes in Syndication. The problem is, Tyler Labine is already in another show (Sons of Tucson).
If anyone is interested, there is a source linked from the wiki page.
The show can certainly do without Tyler Labine. He’s annoying, to me.
I like him (he plays Soc, the pudgy guy with the big hair, for those not in the Reaper know). Hope they can keep the cast together, and keep the show going.
I could easily live without Soc. (Even if I didn’t always look at him and think: Heat Miser!)
Actually, I’m not sure I’ll miss the show. Satan is the only interesting character. Soc is an complete and total ass, Ben is bland wimp. Sam is supposed to be a nice guy, but is also a sad little wimp. Andi is definitely a cutie, but not enough to carry the show. I watch now as much out of habit as anything.
What did you guys think of the show’s (non) ending? They certainly left it open for another season, which I find aggravating if it’s really over for good.
Agreed, but they may not have known early enough that they were being canceled. (All early indicators would seem to have been there, but still…)
I complain about this regularly. One of the reasons I usually only watch comedies is because most dramas don’t have a wrap up when they are canceled and there is no closure.
Yeah. Maybe if it’s not renewed there’ll be something on the DVD to give us long-suffering fans some closure.
Andi is especially cute when she’s drunk. The exorcism was funny. And as soon as Steve took Sam’s hand I almost shouted, “Don’t shake his hand!,” suspecting something was up. Nice to see Steve get his wings, though.
yeah - but getting your wings by screwing over the guy thats actively trying to beat the devil?
They must share the god with the Supernatural universe.
I also could live without Soc - he had one point of redemption after 2 seasons - he went to save Nina - I expected him to go sit on the couch and lose the note.
