Wow, that happened to a lot of people and a lot of companies. Unfortuantely with rapidly changing technology and a globaly fragile economy, things like that happen. Tech stocks are paticularly fragile (just ask my stock broker - and my portfolio is a prime example sine it is worth a bout 1/4 what it was about 4 years ago)
I’m not sure what to offer, to accomplish your goal and stay marketable. But perhaps working for a Bristish based company could be a plus. Could it help you get your foot in the door of other British based companies? Unfortuantely I think the cost of living is pretty high in the UK (not compltely sure but I’m betting some UK dopers could elaborate here) and that is going to affect your move unless a company is willing to pay your moving expenses…pretty glum huh?

I don’t suppose either of you would be willing to relocate? Say, somewhere near the eastern edge of PA, since I’m hoping to get a job and move there in the nearish future? I don’t have anything against Montana, per se (well, cold weather and shorter daylight time, but other than that . . .), but I’d have a hell of a time finding a job there. Plus it puts me thousands of miles away from both friends AND family.
Dang it, here I am, great gal and all, and I know no single males of an appropriate age within a hundred miles.
