All right, yes, I am saying that I wasn’t seconding a jab at you. I was seconding what Left Hand of Dorkness and MoodIndigo1 said about how catsix handled her Pitting. That catsix came out of this well was what both posts had in common, and what I felt as well. It wasn’t aimed at you, which is why it wasn’t addressed to you. Sorry I wasn’t clearer.

Curse you for dragging me back into this thread, lezlers but as the admiration is mutual,I’ll try and explain what troubled me.
When jarbabyj began the pitting, I was pretty miffed at ol’ catsix myself for her refusal to admit that not all working moms were out to milk the system and exploit their fellow co-workers.
However, although jarbabyj got down and dirty-she seemed to limit herself to addressing catsix’s behavior rather then flinging spurious insults at her.
I can think of at least two other posters who flat out stated that catsix was either a troll or too crazy to bother with in the first place.
Jarbabyj may have reached pretty fair back with some of her arguments but she still focused on what catsix had said instead of beating her up for who she was.
Then something reasonably amazing happened-catsix came in, apologized when appropriate and took the time and effort to open up and explain herself to us.
I came away liking and respecting someone that I had originally thought was a pig-headed twit.
Jarbabyj acknowledged that while she might never ever agree with catsix on a flipping thing, she understood her better.
A pitting, for once, had turned productive.
In my mind, this was the time for the thread to die.
Then in comes a cadre of posters to yell at jarbabyj and question her motives for starting the thread in the first place.
If y’all had come in on page one or even two and berated her, that might have been appropriate but I just didn’t see the need to continue to fan the flames.
If you truly felt that catsix’s pitting was undeserved-why did it take you so long to saddle up and ride to her defense?
(And don’t give me that cheap excuse about work or real life preventing you from sitting at your computer 24/7)
