Well, that was brutal.

Oh, dear! That was hard and the last poll will be impossible!

At first, it seemed a bit lackluster, but by the time I reached Something, I realized it was the toughest poll so far.

Yep, way more than ten that I wanted to vote for.

Add me to the list. A poll where I don’t vote for two of the greatest Clash songs (with much agony) must be full of great songs.

Usually in these polls, I’ll have about 12-16 songs I’ll pick on my first cut through, then figure out how to cut them down.

Occasionally, I’ll have about 8-9 on the first cut, and then I’ll stream a random sample of the likeliest-looking songs to see if any that I haven’t heard match up to the first set of cuts - then I’ll have some new favorites.

But this poll? That strategy went out the window. Too many tough decisions. Paper cut, meet lemon juice.

I didn’t have that problem, just 2 final cuts (Penny Lane and Sympathy For the Devil)…

Probably a good thing that you and I aren’t planning any long road trips together.

There is just a single song on that list that I believe does not warrant serious consideration for my vote.

mmm

I mean, Radar Love?!

Most of my stuff is simply obscure, but IMHO rather tuneful, if you were to give them a listen. Alas quite a bit isn’t available on the main streaming services.
