Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) wants sourdough garlic bread to go with it.
She loves garlic bread I make by frying bread in butter with minced garlic and herbs. Have you any ideas how I can get the fried bread nice and brown without burning the minced garlic?
flytrap I wonder if you made a spread with softened butter, minced garlic and herbs and spread it on the bread before fryin’ it up if that would help. I’m thinkin’ get the pan super hot first would also help.

I’m going to teach a lesson that I will create using my own materials but I’ve asked a friend if I can borrow some pictures from her blog. I’m certain that she’ll say yes so do I wait for her approval or start snagging pictures now? Actually, I’ll probably wait as it’s entirely too hot to do much work here tonight so I’ll probably just give up and head to bed soon.
I shall saute the garlic and herbs and spoon them onto the bread in the little electric oven next time.
Gently fried as before did not win her approval, although the one fried with blackened bits did. 
Higgs seems to be doing her best to keep me from sleeping. Barking at 4:30 this morning - grrrrrrrr. And closing the door doesn’t help, thanks to a certain cat. I finally gave up about 5:30, and now I’m showered, dressed, with a fed dog, and a cat box that I’d better clean before Higgs decides she wants a snack.
Today, at least this morning, is for planting some of the stuff I got from my mom. Beyond that, who knows?

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69 <snerk> Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 86 for the day and rain this afternoon and evenin’. We shall see. I shall be involved in mowage of the back forty over to the church house this mornin’. It’s dry here at da cave so mayhaps it will be the same there. At least that will be done before the predicted rain starts.
MOOOOOOM I was wide awake at five thirty but that’s probably because I was sound asleep at eight thirty last night. I pulled an all nighter. I didn’t wake up and have to go pee.
nettie he is. He’s even the reason for the ice cream as he stopped in at Publix AKA the Pubic sto’ and got it when he picked up the pizza.
Now I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants feedin’. Since someone is still abed I shall try my best to remain quiet because I’m all nice like that.

It seems that I always wake up (usually briefly) at least once a night. I don’t always have to pee when I wake up in the middle of the night, though.
Anyways, it’s craft fair day, and I have to get prepared and leave soon. Seey’all later!
It’s starting to get light out. Maybe another 30 minutes and I’ll start playing in dirt.
Morning, all - happy Caturday! I was up early and had finished my half hour on the wii before 9.30am, that meant it was definitely time for a cup of tea.
Last night’s visit to the micropub was very succesful, it was packed and we had to wait a few minutes for a bunch of folks to leave so that we could go in so we stood outside chatting to the guy who runs the place then went and tried several of their very nice beers. I had my CAMRA card with me so we got a discount on the cost of it too, can’t be a bad thing.
Swampy would be very pleased with them, the pub only has a maximum capacity of 50 (thought it was 30 but it’s a little bigger than expected) and only has one toilet. That facility had one roll of TP in use, and 11 others on the shelf. I consider that pretty well-prepared!
Off to town soon for errands and stuff, then into the big city tonight for drinks with a bunch of friends. Several of them are going to a wine fair this afternoon so I expect them all to be n fine form by the time we meet up with them.

It’s a chilly 59 degrees outside with a projected high of 76.
I got woke up early by the thundering herd, then when I am able to finally get to the bathroom I’m choking and gagging because the HFH saturates herself in perfume every morning. The whole house reeks of eau de cheap cat house.
I couldn’t get back to sleep so I stayed up and now I have to go feed some dogs and a cat.
My left ear cleared up and now my right ear hurts. I suspect it’s allergies.
I am up. (Duh, I’m not sleep-typing.) This morning I am still being stabbed in the throat and ear although a bit more gently. Progress.
Today I have tons and tons and tons of homework to do. Unfortunately I did not sleep well and my one homework project was rolling around in my head all night. I wish it would have given me some clarity on what I need to do, but it didn’t.

Back from my 0700 gall bladder ultrasound. The cute tech (an Aussie, BTW) wouldn’t tell me what she saw, but I did get her to admit there were no baby aliens in there.
Methinks it’s time to go back to bed. I went to the dump yesterday, so my morning is free. Sloth, just the way I like it…

I’m sleepy from getting woke up too early but I am going to log into irk anyway.
Oh and a great big middle finger salute to McD’s. I got a breakfast meal, I don’t like coffee so I got a coke instead. I knew they charged extra for the switch but for the first time I notice it’s a flippin’ 79 cents to switch to a coke. WTF???!!!
They can kiss my ass, form nwo on if I want breakfast on the run I’ll drive up to the Burger King instead. It’s out of the way but at least they serve it ‘my way’ without any extra charge.
