Thought about deheathenizing today. Didn’t happen, but that’s more effort I put into it than the last 2 years…
Home from feeding the beasties.
I was in a good mood, saw a smart car with a wind up key attached to the back of it.
Then I had to come home and have to move a damn blockade out of the way because she blocks Sah-dog in the living room to keep him separated from her bitch dog and she’s burning some stinky candle that you can smell all the way out into the front yard, and then to top it off she doesn’t even flush the damn toilet.
Instead of putting up a blockade to inconvenience everybody else maybe she should just train her dog or put the nasty bitch down.
Mawnin all and Happy Sunday
Seems that the weather listened to the calendar and someone finally turned the heat off. IOW for the first time since late April it is pleasant to go outside. This means fire at the bar, yeah.
Cheers all
Jim
Good morning!
Well the one day weekend is over, back to work this afternoon. Not excited.
They are supposedly rolling out a ‘new format’ 11pm show tonight, but I have never been told what the hell it will be. Guess I will find out in a few hours.
Beyond that, all is quiet. Hell it wasn’t until I popped back on here that I remembered the horrors of Prancercise!
**tugig **- new format? All Nudes on Nine!!
We had a nice breakfast, albeit *slooooooooow *to arrive. I hate when people who came in after us get their food before us. The food at the Cracker Barrel is consistently decent, but the service at this particular location is really erratic.
Afterwards, we ran by WalMart for critter supplies and some cereal, and after we got home, I planted some grasses and liriope and hostas and assorted lilies around the deck. I’ve got 3 more pots to plant - I think they’ll go in the front yard. Later. I need a breather.
So goeth my day.
Home from deheathenization and ush duties. We had a big (for us) crowd this mornin’. Plus people kept shwoin’ up after service started. Really makes it difficult to get an accurate count for Communion but we did it. I even remembered to put the count in the Wafer Bowl this mornin’. Go Me!
What? I have been known to forget that little detail.
gigity it wasn’t until you popped back on here that I was exposed to the horrors of Prancercise.
I need some kinda N.O.L. Maybe a quick sammich followed by a nappy poo. Sinuses are feelin’ kinda icky and it’s still all gray and dreary out. Sounds like a plan to me!
It’s the thought that counts!
I’m not even looking up Prancercize. I’ve been on the internet long enough to know you can’t unsee something.
I think the new format is going to quickly blast through the major news of the day then center on one big story or theme to explore through most of the newscast - the idea being most people can / will get their regular news from a variety of sources, so instead we will delve deeply into stories to really examine them with more info than your usual 11pm newscast.
Most 11pm’s get 12 minutes of news time. The rest is weather, sports and commercials. So giving 8 of those 12 to one local story with lots of info might be better than 4 shootings, an LA car chase and the latest on Britney Spears.
At least that’s what I think they plan to do, from what I have heard. Then again I followed the Prancercise lady around Chinatown Friday, so WTF?
gigity I can see it now. Your first assignment with the new assignment is to follow the Prancercise lady around for a five day in depth interview! Lucky You!
N.O.L. and nappage have occurred. Still dreary outside.
For the second time today, I’m shower-fresh!
I just finished the last of my plantings/weeding/mulching/dumping debris. Slowly but surely, I’m beating the yard back into submission. The garden in the back has new plantage, plus I moved a couple of the plants to make space. Out front, I pulled up tons of grass and put in liriope and lilies, then I mulched. I want to put some daffodil bulbs in among the plantings - maybe one afternoon this week. And next Sat, I’m going to my mom’s to get more lilies and stuff. Yay!
I just put 2 fake crab quiches in the oven. I forgot to buy half-n-half, so it’ll be interesting to see how it comes out with skim milk… :dubious: Not that it’ll go to waste - we’ll still eat it all!
And after the quiche is ingested, knittage will ensue. Thus endeth another weekend at FairyChatEstates.
Who’s on deck for tomorrow?
Happy Equinox!
I hate Fall and Winter.
I don’t think I have a favourite season. I think I like different things about each one.
Fall is my favorite season by far.
I’ve been kind of crabby today. Being sick sucks. Oh wait, I’ve mentioned that already, haven’t I?
I decided that I’m going out running tomorrow no matter what. I’ve declared this is my last day of illness. So there.
Fall is ok but Winter is teh suck. I hate cold weather. Really, I’m good with Summer but then again I am a Summer baby.
The next person to post starts us off tomorrow!
Fall is lovely, as long as it doesn’t storm too much. Likewise Spring. I could do without both Winter and Summer. Just have Spring and Autumn all year long
Ha Ha Rosie is it
This being Sunday and it is later than 4pm, I shall bicycle to the bar and proceed be a sloth.
So there
Beer!
Jim
If we haven’t seen enough of Prancersize lady, she’s now doing commercial work for pistaschios! LOL I actually enjoy some of those ads for the green/red nuts but not hers blargh! ;(
And a happy Sunday to all!
They always speak rather highly of you. :dubious:
Rosie’s gonna start us off. YAY!!!
The quiche was quite yum! Not quite as rich as when I use half-n-half, but yummy nonetheless.
I’m now going to slice up the remaining quiche and wrap it for breakfasts for the week. Then it’s time to knit.
MWAH!!!
