Well, the occasional whirlies aren’t as bad today. Still dealing with sinus pressure, but with today’s weather (heavy rain, possible thunderstorms), they could just be reacting to barometric stuff. No, it’s not bubonic plague. 
Still a bit Nyquil-groggy, but we didn’t exactly have any significant plans for today anyway.
Gotta figure out how a recently rebuilt XP system already has a malware problem (I blame Internet Exploder, er, Explorer).

Um, as it appears right now I will only be graduating with one degree and will have to add the other licensure part of my degree after I graduate with a post-baccalaureate option. I suppose it will all work out but I’m hoping it doesn’t cost me anymore money. That was the whole point of adding on the additional 3 classes to get the additional degree now while I’m still in school. Ugh.
So, I’m at the nephew’s band contest. Doesn’t start for another 1/2 hour, but I’m all the way at the top of the stands, just about at the 50 yard line, so I should be able to see the cool stuff they do.

I rather like Microsoft Essentials, written obviously by Microsoft, who, whores though they may be, know the most about Windows.
Antivirus programs sometimes conflict with each other. The most obsessive of us run only one.

Good morning. The dog didn’t start whining till 5:10 - it’s almost like sleeping in!!! :rolleyes: I don’t know when the rain stopped, but we had several hours of nice, steady rain, with a bit of a deluge around 8PM or so. Just the drink the ground has been needing here - it’s been very dry of late.
Today’s plans include going out to breakfast, then running to WalMart for dog food. And some weeding. And maybe I’ll get the last of the plants into the ground. We’ll see how it all goes.

Good Morning Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a cloudy, rainyish 66 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 83 for the day. The rain is supposed to end this mornin’. Like MOOOOOOM we appear to have gotten some good rains overnight. I haven’t been out to check the rain guage but da yahd appears to be pretty well soaked.
I have ush duty this mornin’. Rah. This means my co-usher and I get to do such things as greet people, hand out service bulletins,count haids so’s we can place the official count in the Wafer Bowl for Communion, traipse up and down the aisle with Alms Basins, show late comers to seats, periodically peek in the nursery and children’s church to make sure things are good, count the money (but not the checks) collected and other fun stuff as may be needed. This means instead of like payin’ attention to the service we run around all over the place. Oh well, that’s what we signed up for, right?
That’s all I got. Time for more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, purtification for deheathenization must c ommence.

It’s a cool sunny 56 degrees outside with a projected high of 72. The rains have stopped.
The HFH is an ass, she put the AC on yesterday. I left my window open anyway.
I need to get moving to let the dogs out and feed them and the cat.
I had the weirdest sucky dreams last night. I was late for my plane, lost my keys, couldn’t remember the hotel room number, didn’t have time to pack, kept finding keys that weren’t mine, I was walking all over the hotel trying to find my room, walking all over the airport trying to find my plane, and still hadn’t packed so I was carrying a card board box with what I had in it and was getting nasty looks from the other passengers because what kind of person carries a cardboard box as luggage?
I just saw on the news that our new Miss America never would have won in India because… her skin is too dark. People is weird, the pale ones like to tan to be darker, the darker ones want to be lighter, and in India they have have a feminine wash that also promises to lighten skin.
It’s nice to know that peoples is weird all over the world.
