My ominous news turned out ok. The part about me being sick is not so good, though. I woke up from a nap and have been feeling worse and now I have a fever. Unless it goes to 101 I guess I’ll go to school in the morning. Ugh.

I have too many forms to deal with today. Actually, it’s figuring out which forms need to be done for what and when that’s the most noodle-twisting part. Filling them out it kind of draggy, when I know the information. And just more time consuming when I don’t and have to go digging.
There’s a little voice somewhere inside whining that I didn’t major in Bloody Forms in college, but forms are what I’m being paid for, and I do like to get paid. Is it bad that I made a list of twenty things I need to do and am considering just rolling 1d20 to pick which one goes next?

I don’t believe there is such a thing as legally triumphant in most cases, especially divorce. It is a compromise that ends the dispute. I remember hearing a successful negotiation leaves both parties equally pissed off. It’s probably something like that. Most importantly, it is concluded.
But enough, it’s nice to see everyone again! I didn’t read the MMP much because I felt tempted to chime in.

Probably not. It’s interesting how totally different words and names are to people depending on their individual experiences.

Nope, sorry. But I may need to check RuneQuest out, now. During the eighties I had small children and lost track of things like rpgs and movies.
If I remember right Yllaria was the Sun God in the bronze age role playing game. Kind of like where D&D was medieval based, RQ was more Greek mythos.
Keerap, we just had our first boy come over to help our 12 year old with homework moment. Course he’s a cute kid, star on the football team, incredibly polite and I have no idea if he knows a damn thing about math. For the love of god how did I get so blindsided about this? Last week she was looking for her crayons.

Unlikely friends? I would never have thought that I’d have this many close imaginary friends. But here you all are… Yay!!!
My 2 closest work friends are pretty unlikely, too, though. One is pretty much party-line Republican; the other is maybe just a tidge to the left of her. My politics are mixed: my own brand of fiscal conservative in general, but social liberal/libertarian-ish. And yet we have lunch together practically every day and occasionally do social stuff too.

Tired, still… Will be on vacation starting next Tuesday. Just for a week, but really really need it.

It’s a brisk 47 degrees outside, dark and cool, with a projected high of 70.
The breeze died down so I can open my window. Yesterday’s breeze made it pretty chilly in here.

Oh and I hates people. Not youse people, specifically, just people in general. That is all.
Today, more than any day in recent memory, I just really want to go back to sleep. 
Last night my physical therapist added more exercises. My legs, they hurt me. However, my knees rarely complain about stairs anymore, so I suppose the therapy is working. I just wish it didn’t involve so much ouch. Last night there were weights. And surprisingly, the drunk-test walk-the-line. Which, as it turns out, is way harder than it looks.
I am the only person in my section of the office so far this morning, and it’s kind of creepy. If I couldn’t hear everybody back in the warehouse and lab, I’d think maybe we had the day off and nobody told me.
Jynx, I hates people every day. We can start a club. I’ll make t-shirts.
