Stayed up too late last night, tired today. Very sore in my lower body.
Ate the leftover tuna from yesterday. Big up to Vigo yellow rice. The little 5oz bags make 2 bowls of great rice. I cut the oil called for in half (from 2 to 1 tbsp).
I still have to buy some stuff for my vacation next week. It seems like it got here so fast.

Finally, I’m going to bed. We have had a sewer specialist (aka plumber) here since 9:30 pm cleaning out our sewer. Two bathtubs backing up, and both toilets leaking around there seals. 'Twas not a pretty sight.
$200 later, we’ll be able to shower in the morning. Aagghhh!
Did I mention the freakin’ dishwasher broke on Sunday? The part will be here this week, and Mr Rebo will replace it. I’m waiting for the third thing to happen. :eek:

jngl, your holiday sounds great! We don’t get snow here (except maybe once in a freak storm back in about 1960, I think!), so skiing is something that doesn’t present itself as an affordable holiday option! My husband has actually never seen snow, so we will have to do it some day!

Morning all - hump day already! I’ve got a busy week again, but on the plus side I lost 1.5lbs at fat club last night. Must have been the slice of cake I had yesterday…
gt - yes it was my buffday drinks, and lots of fun it was too. Unfortunately a couple of people couldn’t make it due to illness so I’ve been told that I need to do it all over again sometime soon.
Yesterday also, I had a call from a guy I used to work for many years ago. He likes to keep in touch, and I like him to do it because he has the deepest plummiest voice. Ooooh…it’d give you shivers if you’re fond of cultured English accents. Anyhoo, he was wondering when I might next be going over his way 'cos he wants to take me out for lunch so I reckon I’ll be doing that just after easter when I’ve got a couple of extra days off work.
Yes, where is Pie? Pretty soon Lunch will be complaining he’s got nobody to play with.

As for **Pie **-- She asked me to please tell **GT **she couldn’t do next week’s OP, as she will likely be away for a while. I have no more information than that (I’ve asked but I don’t think she’s been reading.) I hope she’s OK. Sadly, I’m not sure this is the case I hope she sorts out whatever she feels she needs sorting soon, and comes back.
I will continue to try and contact her, but I doubt I will succeed unless she wants me to.
I have a (non-Irish) Idea for an OP so I volunteered to pick the coming Monday up.
So – unless somebody really, really wants the 17[sup]th[/sup], I’ll be doing an only-very-tangentially-Irish St. Pat’s day OP
