The MMP That Drives Like an Idiot

Me first! Me first!

Me second!

Me… turd?

We are silent, but deadly.

I have the juiciest limes. Just ask my throbbing cuticles.

I’ve been in the best mood tonight, though. That’s right, all those crashing noises were me dancing to Curtis Mayfield’s Move On Up in the kitchen. I got some ragga jungle on now, though. Yay-ya.

Heading to Mom & Dad’s tomorrow for ‘early St Patrick’s Day dinner’. I guess my little brother is in town from school for Spring break and I’m heading out to ski and Mom wants to get together. Corned beef and cabbage sounds fine with me.

I saw some weird purple hot sauce packs from Taco Bell in the lunchroom at work today. Looks like some kind of promotion but the color just seems wrong.

Yay. Won my first dress on eBay!

Course, I won’t be able to wear it for at least a month. Stupid weather.

Boy, this place is slow tonight.

Okay, fine.

It’s back to games then, or how about a poll. What the heck websites do you visit? I know we all visit SDMB, that’s clear, but it’s a big interwebs out there.

Me:
SDMB
SD on Friday
Fathom
Drudge

Icanhazcheezeburger
SensibleErection (not what it sounds like)
MSNBC
Wikipedia (general browsing)
FoxSports
Snopes
Una’s board (not often enough)
IMDB

I think that’s about it, besides the places I really shouldn’t mention (don’t worry, it’s not “to catch a predator” stuff).
If this poll isn’t to your liking then I can always tell you the story about the time I almost committed suicide. It was both accidental and slightly humorous.

Sorry Haze! I was reading along with you and cheering you on for winning your new dress, but my 11 month old wouldn’t let me type anything!

Speaking of 11 months old, HRH threw her first tantrum last night! It was a doozy and I know she definitely has my personality-type! I was nearly finished feeding her dinner (macaroni with cheesy tomato sauce and minced chicken), when she clamped her mouth shut and wouldn’t open it until I gave her the Vaseline tub (so indicated through the point-and-grunt manoeuvre with which we are now so familiar). I gave her the Vaseline tub and shoveled a couple more spoons of macaroni into her, when she started to get really frustrated with not being able to get the lid off the Vaseline (that’s why I gave it to her - because she can’t open it yet!). She finally got so frustrated that she hurled the Vaseline across the room and, with a sweeping movement of her arm, tossed everything else off the high chair tray onto the floor. She then banged her little fists on the tray and started to scream! I had to physically restrain myself from laughing - she is truly her mother’s daughter!!!

beebs, my website list includes:

SDMB (fairly obvious, that one!)
Gmail
Travian (browser game)
Jennifer Government (NationStates)
Facebook
News.com.au (Australian news website)
Gulf-daily-news.com.au (Bahraini news website)
LiLi’s blog (every few days to check for new pics - we want more!!!)

And that’s about it!

Remember, pics help. Especially if she starts wearing the macaroni and all.

Well, this one was taken a couple of weeks ago, but you get the idea of what meal times are like! I need to transfer the latest ones off my camera to the PC and upload some more, actually!

Haze, are we interesting enough for you yet?

Ask me to weigh something, anything. I can break it down into centigrams.

This is odd.

I weighed a piece of origami paper and it came to 1.85 grams. I weighed an origami bird I made and it weighed 1.88! I am puzzled at the difference considering birds are animals of flight.

When your origami bird starts flying without your assistance, that’s when it will weigh less.

Of course, by then, it won’t matter since you will be losing it.

If you love something, set it free …

Gah! Work is so boring. I am so glad I can give up the pretence of “busyness” next week and lounge around at home, where nobody will be any the wiser that I am actually watching DVDs and not doing any work!

There has been talk of this before I believe.

I’m just still dumbstruck with the thought of **Rigs **tying you down with rope and punishing you… :o (that’s me, getting warm under the collar)

I suppose I should burst in upon the scene, and, um… punish the perpetrator. And of course take my rewards from the victim… I swear I’ll untie you afterwards!

(There – now you probably want me to go back to being tame :p)

(Sorry I’m so out of it this week BTW – crazy busy at work, and been so at home, too. I’m hoping to be on more tonight (you’s American peeps’ afternoon))

gratz on the exam

With a name like Atascadero, that place sounds like it’s a horror to drive in even if you happen to live there (“atasco” = stop’n’go traffic; clog; “atascadero” = place of atascos).
Since apparently I won’t be able to take Real Pics of the Amazing '50s Decor (Mom says it’s 50s based on my description, except for the brightly-colored parts), I took some with my cellphone. Can’t upload them until I get home; I apologize in advance for the poor resolution but heck, it’s a phone with camera, not a pocket computer.
3 hours till I turn 40.

Happy Birthday Nava!!!

I saw this and thought of VBob! Because of the physics, of course!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NAVA!!!

Up and caffeinating here. Hope Swampy is feeling better this morning; glad that the ginger ale and toast soothed his tum last night. Dotty, boy little HRH is a-starting early! Glad that you have a sense of humor about it–that’s good. No will soon probably become her favorite word! Congrats to Haze on winning the dress; btw, you do look very young in that pic (but quite beautiful :)).

Happy Thursday, Mumpers, and we’re one day closer to Firday!

Happy Birthday, Nava!

Night shift clearly losing marbles… :stuck_out_tongue:

Getting ready for work…

Back later.
