Home from caring for piddle pup.
I stayed all day so I didn’t have to drive back and forth. I’m sleepy.
It’s right chilly outside, I was going to open my bedroom window tonight but I think I might get cold.
I saw some show I’d ever seen before called Big Spender
Some woman had (at first glance not an official count) 47 pocketbooks and 75 pairs of shoes!!!
I have one pocketbook and if you count the flip flops and snow boots I have 6 pairs of shoes.
Another woman spends $400/week on clothes. I doubt I spend $400 a year on clothes.
Although if I had a real job in a real office I’d spend more than $400/year but it would be no where near $400/week.
It’s dark here at Mom’s and she’s still asleep, so it gives me some quiet computer time. Good morning!!
Yesterday afternoon was productive. Besides looking at the assorted plants she wants to give me, we went thru the itinerary for our trip next year and picked out the side trips we want to take (we’re gonna see Stonehenge!!!) and I got my hair cut. Supper was a zucchini quiche which was pretty good. And we inventoried all the knitted stuff from this trip and the last one - she’s got a pile of afghans, scarves, hats and shawls to be taken on Monday. And I saw the running list of everything I’ve given them this year - dang, I’ve made a lot of stuff!
And I discovered that I forgot my toothbrush, dammit! I had my hands full as I was gathering my toiletries and I remember thinking “Gotta grab my toothbrush - there’s the bristle cover” but I forgot. Dammit. I know Mom has spares but she’s asleep and I’m sitting here with munge-mouth - ick.
Today’s plans involve digging up and potting all the plantage I’ll take with me. We’ll need to quit in time for me to shower and dress and leave by 1:30. Reunion is 2-6, and I may or may not hang with my friend Mary after. Then tomorrow, I’ll be leaving really early to return home. It was a gloriously cool night and I slept pretty well, so there’s that.
Once it gets light and Mom wakes up, we’ll start digging up lilies and stuff. Good times!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69 <snerk> Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. JDD and Partner are comin’ over for hangout time at the cee-mint pond which is always fun. We’re gonna grill hot dawgs for N.O.L. and have steak, friggin’ good N.O.T. and sallit for dindin. Patner makes killer margaritas (on the rocks) so they shall be sipped on whilst at the cee-mint pond. Needless to say no one will be drivin’ anywhere once that commences.
Have fun at your reunion MOOOOOOM. Yes, you really did go to skool with all those old farts.
I shall now either feed tummy or go back to bed. Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Happy Caturday, mumpers! It’s cool and dry over here today, but the weatherman has been issuing dire predictions of the first serious autumnal storms which should hit us tonight and last all through tomorrow. Gale-force winds, no less. Already! So today I have been out and dug up my potatoes because I thought they must be ready by now. I had three small tubs with potatoes growing in them, the slugs had got to some of the plants but I still got a fairly decent crop. Potato salad next week, I think.
Today there will be errands in town and a bit of exercise on the dreaded wii machine later. I might make chilli tonight because I like that idea. Tomorrow I have to download the pics from my camera and shove them on my photo site. I’m off to see my doting parent next weekend and she’ll want to see the holiday snaps so I had better get them sorted out before I go over there.
Laundry has created ironing, so that will also be in my future. You can tell Sunday is going to be beyond exciting, can’t you?
