The MMP. That's it, just "The MMP".

How’s unpacking coming, rosie?

The pollen is absolutely CLOBBERING my eyes! Craaaaaaaap!

Time to assume the recliner position. Fingers crossed for a good sleep tonight. I need it!! MWAH!

To answer the OP - I do have Mondays off. But I usually fill them with stuff to do.

I technically have tomorrow off but again, much to do.

MOOOOOOM don’t worry. Stuff like that is natural in the elderly. :stuck_out_tongue:

Spaz trillium what?

I am yawin’ my haid off! Can’t believe I’m this sleepy so early. I feel like I could go to bed and sleep twelve hours. Of course if I went to sleep right now I’d be awake at two a.m.

it’s not. All my friends who said “call me if you need anything” have come up with excuses (reasonable ones, but excuses nonetheless) each time I’ve asked. I’m going to have to hire College Hunks to do the heavy lifting for me.

At least you can watch.

You Flirt With Death.

Please, do it more often.

I was [del]grilled and skewered[/del] interviewed by four people and I am exhausted. I think I may be heading to bed soon.

…says the guy who goes to the [del]old fart[/del] early bird dinner every night. :dubious:

(You’re welcome, Mooommmm)

P.S. I really wish the mods would bring these back as the current ones just don’t cut it. :frowning:

Good luck with that.

Ahh…quiet enough to sleep. And thanks for the welcome; I haven’t dropped in here for a while.

yeah.

Triple blurf. I’ve got another interview set up for Wednesday for a part-time retail gig that’ll help out until I get other stuff in place. I talked to a very nice lady about a major project. And my beloved husband is watching the NFL draft on the teevee and taking notes. But my dress is ready, as are my shoes. I just have to put some papers in my folder.

I worked for 9 hours, and I think I got a negitive amount of work done. “Blurf”, I think.

They will, right after they achieve World Peace, and get you a pony.

Good luck again, Rockin’!

Sorry unpacking isn’t going well, rosie. You should have moved closer to the rest of the Mumpers, we’d help. Except for that Flytrap person. I fear he’s a malingerer.

Blurf.

I’m really s’posed to be getting ready for this work festival camping thingy, but I really don’t wanna… I’m going to be late at this rate, but I’m still finishing off breakfast, so I’m allowed to play on the internets still, that’s how it works.

It’s a bit bleedin’ cheeky how early he expects us to be there (unpaid), given than it’ll be hours later when the first shift starts, especially as I’m taking my own transport and I know I can get my tent up in under 15 minutes.

I think I might have locked the cat in the greenhouse last night- I went out really late 'cos I left some plants out to get some sun, and suddenly remembered them after midnight. I think he must have sneaked in behind me, cos he was sat in there when I went in to water stuff this morning. Oops. At least it’s warm and dry.

Anyway, I’m out of excuses, better finish getting ready for this irk. Back Sunday. Ugh.

swampy: :p[sup]58932[/sup] I did a little research, and discovered to my relief that it’s not dangerous to use a glass stovetop that’s pitted. Darn good thing, because it’s the “burner” I use the most often. It’s just ugly and I’ll need to be especially careful about cleaning it.

I slept like the dead, which I needed, and I was awakened by the dog, which I didn’t need. At least I’m mostly rested. I decided that today I’d mow the ditch and weed the front garden. Heat and fatigue will determine how long that will last.

Based on the way my arms are itching, I’m pretty sure I was a bug buffet when I was working outside yesterday. I didn’t even know I was being bit. Stoopit bugs.

**FCD **leaves tomorrow for FL, and returns on Sunday with his father. His appointment is on Weds at Duke, and that’s when they’ll find out what happens next. What I do know is that when he takes his dad home, he’ll stay there for his mom’s pacemaker surgery on May 28, so he could be gone for 2 weeks. And theoretically in 6-8 weeks, his dad will have to go back to Duke. Lots of miles on our car this year…

Anyway, Happy Firday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis <snerk> 69! <snerk> Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 89 for the day. My first night without adult supervision resulted in me bein’ sound asleep at eight-thirty last night. I’m a wild one!

Rockin’ appropriate/inappropriate appendages crossed!

Nuts quit goofin’ off and get ready for irk! :stuck_out_tongue: Hope all goes well this weekend.

MOOOOOOM bugs be sneaky. This is why I spray myself down with bug repellant before doin’ yahd irk. I am a tasty bug snack.

StickyBuns yikes! Sounds like a brutal job interview!

Ok, I need more caffiene and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence. Oh well, at least 'tis Firday.

Happy Firday Y’all!

My daughter got a call back on an interview for a job she really wants. Crossed fingers and good thoughts! She’s been less than thrilled with teaching middle schoolers in a district that has declared “No student shall be given a grade less than 50.” Yeah, that’s education in Orlando…
