Aaaaaahhh hear that? That is the sound of me easing down into a three day weekend - that I started at 11AM today 
It has been 94 degrees and humid today so an evening the in AC is called for.
I signed the lease today. I move June 3. 
I figured out my finances for June (accounting for the fact that I do have money in my account now :smack:) and July and things should get much easier in July when I don’t have extra bills and I get my phone plan straightened out.
Now I just need to get my computer to stop giving me green pixels every time I play Skyrim. :mad: I’ve done some research and it looks like my graphics card is either on the way out (bad) or just needs to be blown out with a can of air and reconnected. I’m going to borrow a can of air from maintenance at irk tomorrow and try plan 2 first. If that doesn’t work, a call to Computer Boy is in order. A call to him is in order anyway as he has some of my stuff at his place and I’ll need the services of his truck when I move.

Looks like TS Beryl will likely pay a visit on Monday. Big chance of rain on Memorial Day.
doggio I am not hungover. Tomorrow, however, may be a whole different story. Or not. I’m all rad that way.
I need to finish caffeinatin’, find brekkie for rumbly tummy, purtify and go over to the church house to get ice. Why go buy ice when there’s an ice machine that makes more ice than a bazillion people could ever use to go raid, right? Heh. I just know I won’t be the only one doin’ it. I just ended a sentence with a preposition. I expect a knock on the door from the grammar nazis anytime now.

I am up and about way to early for a Saturday. I will meander off to get coffee in a bit mr ems has just left for work and I have no real plans today.
I do need to stake my tomato plants and go pick up a prescription this morning but other than that not much going on here. Going to be hot hot hot here this weekend!
Ok, ice is gotten and ribs are a smokin’. YUMMMM… they smell good already.
I slept in 'til 9am!
Not hungover; one needs to ingest beerverages to get that way. Was out early on the bike before it gets too hot. S’posed to be upper 80’s & hoomid. No AC as it only works in months containing a “u”. 
No hangover here, 'cept for what hangs over my belt.
Working. Been to the dump, Lowe’s, and just finished the mowing the yahd.
Smoking a butt <snerk> tomorrow, after [del]fishing[/del]going to services. I have my squid already.
Been for coffee, eaten breakfast, done laundry, sorted/edited pictures from my phone and camera, emptied dishwasher, booked some concert tickets for later in the summer and now I am headed out to get my prescription & get a couple of the pictures from mr ems daughter’s prom printed for his Father’s Day gift. I am not braving the crowds at the mawl to go get the frame/mount I have picked out out I will do that next week at lunch. I hate the mawl. I especially hate the mawl on crazy holiday weekends. Urgh
This has beena long day so far with being up so early. After I go run my errands I will eat lunch and then state tomatoes. And that is as exciting as I get today.
Happy Saturday!!! We were up and out early, getting breakfast, some plywood, then running to FCD’s office so he could do something while I sat around reading the spines of the books on his shelf. woohoo!
My FIL called and I got them straight on their passports and finished their reservation for the cruise. 89 days to go!
And now, I need to scoop the cat box. Yes, you wish you had my life. I know it.
Takin’ a cool off break. It’s hawt out but the pool’s niiiiiiiiice. Water is just a little cool so it feels good. Ribs should be done in about an hour and fifteen minutes then they’ll go into the big slow cooker set on warm where they will stay nice, tender and moist as the ribs are wrapped in foil now. The first part of the smokin’ they set on the racks sans foil. Then they get wrapped in heavy duty foil for the second half. Makes 'em all juicy and tender.
I done gone and make myself hongry! Fortunately JDD and Partner have provided mahvelous munchies. Chili cheese dip, crab/artichoke dip, boiled peanuts, cheese straws, and, as they said, for dessert… jello shots. They can have all of those. I do not like 'em. Ick!
Ok back to the madcap fun!
Have Internet for a few minutes, so I thought I’d stop in. Am off to cousin’s wedding in a few. Did I mention I’m in Mexico?

Very tired today. There’s a bunch of freakin’ Canadians* having a destination wedding this weekend and they are all assholes. If I had to work tomorrow I’d make them apologize to the rest of Canada for being such needy jerks.
Does anyone else think destination weddings are a big middle finger to friends and family? That may be the Agony Aunt in me being too close to the surface, but it just seems rather pretentious to ask people to travel xty hundred miles away to watch you get married against a pretty backdrop. :rolleyes:
In good news, I can get a free sunshade for my card and possibly a free wireless card. My co-workers are awesome. We have to be good to each other since we have to absorb black holes of need all day long.
Now I’m going to test Computer Boy’s advice to see if I can keep the Matrix from breaking through my computer while I’m playing Skyrim. (Green spots keep appearing–sign of an overheating graphics card.) I went to town on the inside of my compy with a can of air. Which reminds me, Clown wanted to borrow it for his laptop. Laters all!

**Spaz **- I agree about destination weddings. Not that I’ve ever been invited to one, but chances are, I wouldn’t go anyway. The notion of “Our Special Day” taking precedence over everything else in life is a crock of hooey! Get over yourself - you’re not the first person to marry and you’ll probably not be the last. So don’t be a jerk. I hath spokeneth!
We went out for good Chinese and I’s stuffded. I think I’m going to do my robe and assume the knit position in front of the TV. Maybe tomorrow I’ll be more productive than I was today. Maybe. Hard to say. I was a bum today.

I got lemon juice so now I can make gobbler marinade. I’s got side of cow, side of gobbler, side(s) of fishies, side of cheese, & side(s) of veggies all waitin’ to be smoked laterz this weekend, but tonite is spicy lamb & turkey snausages & corn on the cob from the grill. I’m not firin’ up the oven this weekend, too hot.
Now it’s time to commence working on tomorrow’s hangover.

Ok, not that drunken. Inebriated sure, but hardly durnkne. A good time has been had by all. Everyone is gone but JDD and Partner. They have had an especially good time and do not need to be drivin’, so they will stay at da cave tonight. They even brought overnight bags in anticipation of this. Good for them. Of course, I had suggested they do so earlier this week.
Anywho, dishes are washed, food is put away and all is right with the world.
There’s a Mary Tyler Moore marathon on the Hallmark Channel. Rah.
