If anyone is interested, here’s the pottery that’s going to the store later this week. I need to work up the inventory sheet and decide how much I want for each piece. That’s always the toughest part.
And if you’re wondering, the photos with the soda can and the skein of yarn are to give a sense of scale of the yarn bowls. I’m a little bummed - the bright blue one had white stars all over it, but I only used one coat of white underglaze, so the stars faded. And the slit on the brown striped yarn bowl warped inward. If it doesn’t sell, I’ll just use it myself.
Purty bowls and stuff MOOOOOOM. I especially like the flower pots.

Long overdue house rearrangement has begun. Since I moved into the very verytiny house (small white one on left w/ white Explorer) I have been living, eating & sleeping in the living room. The front bedroom has been floor to ceiling stuff from the move. I used to have a 3 level 5 bed 4 bath colonial on 1.3 acres. Now I am in a 3 room cottage.
It’s been a little tight…
As of last night I made enough room to move the daybed from the living room to the bedroom. That counts as a huge accomplishment for me, it’s only been 16 months since I moved here.
Mom I love the pots! Makes me want to take up knitting. Well, maybe knot - I don’t have enough time for my current interests.

Nuts it’s almost like you’re readin’ my mind! I just came in to point out a very ejookayshunul film I just saw on How To Say No to drinkin’, smokin’ and pettin’. I figure pettin’ could lead to chaos so it all ties in nicely don’t you think?
Time to assume the knit position. My personal yarn bowl is an old glass mixing bowl that the previous owners left behind here. It works. So there’s that.

I made some cookies for a bake sale. Sugar cookies. I could’ve probably made one or two more cookies if I hadn’t eaten so much of the dough. :rolleyes:
I did my taxes today too. The end results were not bad at all, but it’s still stressful and annoying as hell. I hate doing my taxes.
After I spent the morning doing my taxes and I went and took a nap. I had a nasty headache and my stomach was giving me fits. I’m doing a little better now, but I’m irritated that lost most of the afternoon when I could have been productive around the house.
I am on my second load of laundry and have one more ‘must do’ load. After that load, we’ll see how it goes.

I think I’m going to go watch some HGTV or something like that. I really don’t feel like doing anything and the crappy weather isn’t helping at all.
Heh. My yarn bowl is a plastic grocery bag tied to the arm of my chair. I was soaking chickpeas in the Useful Bowl to make hummus and that’s the only bowl I have that’s big enough for the yarn ball I’m working from right now.
