Went to see GI Joe today. Without giving too much away, they have these really cool bugs in the movie; think drones that are the size of & look like fireflys.

Apparently I have a hornet in the house who just buzzed my ear because I end up seeing 'im sitting on the wall. Get a few pieces of TP, whap him down, pick 'im up & give 'im a burial at sea. I cover 'im up with a few more squares & walk away, because, why waste water? Go back in later & notice it’s out from under the TP & swimming! WTF2 :eek:, did one of those little 3-D bugs land on me & come home with me??? :eek: This thing won’t die!
I should be in bed now because I’m getting up at dark:30 to get chased by zombies! :eek: :eek: :eek:

Guess who has lost 90 pounds as of today?? I was hoping to hit 90 by next weekend but I’m already here! My next goal is 100 by my birthday in June.
Should be a good one today. The weather is supposed to be nice and this evening I’ll be heading to see the HFUNs to celebrate the younger girl’s birthday as well as to watch Wrestlemania. Dave’s son will be there as well. As a matter of fact, I’m picking him up! Oh, and I’m also bring cheesecake as that’s what the birthday girl requested for her birthday cake.

I mostly slept in till after 7, and I only got up because I felt guilty about poor, starving Higgs trapped in her “bedroom”. She’s out barking at squirrels right now and **FCD **is still zonked out. I have no idea how late he stayed up - I went back at 9 and turned off the TV at 9:30, immediately oblivious to everything.
Today after breakfast, I get to unload my kiln. I was having a dream that the woman who runs the little store arranged for me to be in a parade before a baseball game because of my success at the store. Weird.
It’s sunny and purty out, and forecast to be quite lovely - open-window weather today. Woohoo! Spring is finally here!!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 48 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 78 and lots o’ sunshine. Nice! May even wear a short sleeved shirt to deheathenization. Speakin’ of which, we have only one service today, so the Luteruns and Whiskypalians will [del]fight each other for pews[/del] worship together and afterwards have brunch. Oh and for havin’ been slightly plastered last night, I am all bright and chipper this mornin’.

Spaz I have been watchin’ educational films from time to time. Last night we held a viewin’ of Duck And Cover. The addition of alcohol makes this especially hilarious btw.

Now I need more caffiene and should feed rumbly tummy. I hear stirrin’ so I think JDD and Partner have returned to the livin’. OYKW is already up. Guess that means da bear should make brekkies. Also need to heat up the chikin pie and purtify for deheathenization.

For those of you who don’t know what scrapple is, it’s the parts of the pig that weren’t good enough to go into Spam (Spam, Spam wonderful Spam!) or even snausages. From the wikipedia page - A popular vernacular description of the content of Scrapple is: “Everything but the Oink!”

I’m in the midst of decorating my pottery and I came up to charge my camera batteries so’s I can take pics when I’m done. I’ve ruined one piece, but not so badly that I can’t fix it next time I run a glaze load. And the spoon rests look awful - when they’re shiny, you can really see how lumpy and uneven they are. I need to figure out a better way of making them.
Back to work with me, in a zombie-free studio.

We have been for brekkie and I have the sheets washed and ready to go in the dryer. We are taking down all the pictures and filling in the holes in the wall ready for when we move out. I am outta town for work this week thenmr ems leaves to go take care of his dad next weekend so his sister can take a break then we have a wedding the weekend after and then suddenly it is the weekend before we are packing up. So gotta get all those little things done now.
Might go to the movies this afternoon. Might not.
Supper is ribs…using up everything that is in the freezer I think all we have left in there is some chicken boobies, corn tortillas and some okra. I think enchiladas may be in our future!
Went up and down the mountain today. There’s little white daisy-type flowers blooming. I’ll have to make a trip to the Botanical Gardens to find out what they are. I’m still waiting for the trilliums to make an appearance.
Plans for today include crocheting and starting another Dickens novel. I’m trying to make peace with Dickens, but some of his books (cougholivertwistandtheoldcuriosityshop) make it hard. I’m about to start on the critically acclaimed Good Stuff after I finish Dombey and Son.
All of the pottery is upstairs waiting to be photographed and put on the inventory sheet - as soon as the batteries are charged.
I think today I’ll *finally *get the chicken in the rotisserie. If **FCD **doesn’t want chicken for supper, I’ll be able to make a pot pie or chickie and dumplins later this week.

Scrapple sounds awful. This means I’d have to try it at least once. Can’t be worse than boiled chitlins.
