Canada. Brazil. Venezuela. Colombia. USA. Everyone I’ve known who had done a lot of world travelling cited those countries.
All immigrant-mixed-race populations. Probably not a coincidence.
If Xavier had wanted your opinions, I’m sure he would have posted a question in IMHO.
A survey by FHM magazine gave this top 10:
As I have just admonished others for giving their own personal opinions, I shall try to suppress the snort of outrage that greeted the Number 1 position…
I should point out, in case it’s not obvious (FHM being an abbreviation of For Him Magazine), that the above list refers to women.
You bet. Playboy does this all the time (Girls of the Golden West, Girls of the Big 10, Girls of the South…).
Well, I have been to about 25 countries in Europe and the Middle East (not bragging, honestly) and I would have to say that the most attractive women I have seen are from Spain, closely followed by Israel, Lebanon, and Italy.
I’ll put in a very enthusiastic vote for Caucasians (the inhabitants of the Caucasus Mountains, that is). I’ve never met one who didn’t make me drool, and I’ve met quite a few. The one problem is that they tend to have certain views that are pretty much diametrically opposed to mine on certain important issues (gender roles are a biggie). But man, if you’re talking about pure aesthetic appeal, just parachute me into Tbilisi! (Or Yerevan, or Makhachkala, for that matter.)
One of my best guy buddies visited me while I was studying in Spain, and I swear, I thought he was going to give himself whiplash watching the women walk by in their spike-heeled knee-high leather boots and miniskirts. It just cracked me up. Then again, he was a 20-year-old student in lovely, cosmopolitan Champaign-Urbana, Illinois at the time, so what can one expect? He swears there was not a single unattractive Spanish woman, but his tastes are definitely skewed toward the dark-haired Mediterranean types.
Have none of you people ever met any Thai women?

Can we be sure they were women, though, is the question I think…
With americans being one of the most obese countries in the world, I somehow dont seem to be inclined to rank them among the most sexy. Remember, for every supermodel, there are a hundred ery very ugly people.
The thread should have been stopped at Brazilian.
My own, non biased and vigorously scientific research will demonstrate this to be true. Unfortunately I have no cite because the research results were washed out to sea during my last beach party…err, field research project.

Married the first one I met.
As for countries, I’m also surprised that no one’s mentioned Argentina. Seems like everyone there, guys and girls, are supermodels. Imagine Italy with a touch of Latin America. I’m surprised I didn’t walk into more lampposts. Of course they could have been Brazilians on holiday, but I’m guessing not. Brazilian women seem more voluptuous, though. I recall reading that Argentines also spend the most, per capita, on plastic surgery, so maybe they should be disqualified.
And in Asia my personal preference is Thailand; it’s not called Land of Smiles for nothing.
Iceland women for me. Those darn Vikings took the cream of the Nordic crop and seeded the most barren, inhospitable, moonscape of a country with them. droool…droool…
I did see this opinion noted in a mag like Nat. Geo (not Maxim or anything) some years back. Sorry no site, but… droool… droool…
