Geographicly speaking, where have you found the highest ratio of attractive people? My friend’s dad told us when we rather young that Texas had the most attractive women in the world. I’ve never been there but Texas has held a mythical quality to me ever since.

Well East coast girls are hip, I really dig those styles they wear. And the Southern girls, with the way they talk, they knock me out when I´m down there.
The Mid-West farmer’s daughters really make you feel allright, and the Northern girls with the way they kiss, they keep their boyfriends warm at night.
I wish they all could be California girls

Funny, when I was growing up, I always heard that the prettiest girls were in the midwest. Of course, I believed it…you always believe what you are told when you are young.
I was also told that, “pretty is as pretty does”. Ever notice how a person’s lifestyle tends to show up in their face???
Seems to me, with the aid of makeup, no one should be ‘ugly’ anymore…
Too bad I don’t wear any…makeup, that is.

I think Texas (and the South in general) emphasizes a woman’s feminine physical beauty a LOT. That doesn’t mean that women in Texas are generally prettier.
One place pretty well known for having beautiful people is the city of San Diego, California. If you ever have a chance to pick up an issue of San_Diego magazine, the ads in the back are almost exclusively for cosmetic surgeons offering their tuck-nip-lift skills. Friends of mine who hail from San Diego all tell me about the circle of “really pretty people” that don’t have all that much contact with commoners like us. I don’t know what it is – I guess a lot of the rich retire there in their youth or something. Go figure.
I think there may be a relation between money and beauty. Which means of course that I’m somewhere between leper and…well groomed leper.
I digress. Anyways, I attended last years Aspen Comedy Fest (as a research trip paid for by my employer)
Anyways, the freakiest bunch of people you ever did see.Everyone was just ridiculously beautiful. Even the old people looked like well preserved supermodels.I guess money CAN buy you the best plastic surgeons and keep you out of those debilitating labor jobs.

i live in san diego and i can say i’d say this city has more than its fair share of beautiful women. California in general is my vote for the most attractive people but i’m a bit biased since i’m a california native.

Well, of course, it all depends on what you like.
I happen to be a big fan of the Scandanavian pedigree
in the northern states – particularly Minnesota, although
California and Texas definitely get a vote from me as well.
I’m originally from Chicago, and now I live in Hungary, and I must say, the gene pool here is golden. Hungary definitely has the highest concentration of just plain gorgeous women (in a Western sense) that I have ever seen in the world. Croatia is another hot spot, so is the Czech Republic and I’m pretty fond of France (Laetia Casta, IMHO, is the most beautiful woman alive.)
But, hey, that’s my tastes, I have a soft spot for Germanic women, as well. However, if I must name one it is without
a doubt Hungary.
I’ve been to quite a few cities around the world, and while it may sound perdictable, LA was a magnet for beautiful people. Models cutting you off in traffic and stunningly beautful men just out on the street TRYING to be seen. To quote * Swingers * “This is LA. The top 1% of beautiful babies come HERE, man!”
I hated the place.
The most attractive people live in New Jersey. The most attractive New Jerseyans live right here in my house.
I once worked for a man who was a native of Chicago. He attended Ole’ Miss and when I asked him why he said that more Miss America’s had come from Mississippi than any other state. OK I suppose if you like your women to look like, well, Miss America. I do have to agree with one thing though (being a Southerner) - a soft, Southern accent on a woman is damn attractive. No matter how attractive she may be, if a woman opens her mouth and sounds like she’s from NJ or another Northeast state its an immediate bummer.

But, I must say, I was in Chicago last summer, and just about every woman I saw there was beautiful.
New York has babes too.
I’d have to say Las Vegas. The place is like a magnet for good looking women that need to work and make a lot of money in a hurry. Cocktail runners, showgirls, dancers, hookers, the place has more than it’s share of beautiful women.
Easy-Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The most gorgeous women in the world live there…and at the beach (which is right in the center of the city) they wear almost nothing (the local version of the bikini is called the “fio dental”-dental floss). This contains about a square inch of material.
2nd place-South beach, Miami, FL-jusy about every second woman is a model there!
How about attractive guys? Boston is the #1 place for hotties. All the girls I know agree with me too.
Boston boys are, in my experiance, very yummy, in that quirky-college boy kind of way. Seattle guys I have met tend to be more alt-rock badass, of which I am a fan.
But if we’re going on accents alone, I am complete sucker for non-American accents. I refer to the Croatian doctor on ER as Dr. Hottiepants. And certain types of Southern accents are good. Backwoods Alabama: not good. Georgia: gooooood.
As a resident of New England, who does not live on the coast, I have absolutely no accent what-so-ever.
