I’m caffeinated, and off to be deheathenated. Then I’m tailgating before the hockey game today.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. A good time was had by all last night. I, too, shall go for deheathenization today Doggio. It looks like I’m goin’ alone though. Methinks a certain OYKW may be slightly under the weather hangover wise. He slurped down several glasses of sangria last night. I think he forgot that the stuff can pack a wallop. 
MOOOOOOM it was just a thought. I’ve been puttin’ paintin’ off cause once I get started, I’ll decide every room needs to be painted. I don’t wanna! However, eventually I gotta.

I’m up and caffeinating and the coffee tastes especially good this morning, for some reason. I have a mammogram scheduled for tomorrow - at 4 PM. I don’t know what I was thinking, since I can’t use any deodorant or powder - how the heck am I going to last the day?! :smack: Oh yeah, I was actually trying to use the least amount of leave possible, so I schedule appointments either early in the morning or late in the afternoon. Then on Wednesday I meet with the nutritionist who will give me pointers for better eating with diabetes. Heh. I’ve been successful in switching to brown rice, now it’s just the multigrain/whole grain pasta. I love fresh fruits and veggies, so no problems there, thankfully.
Shhh… I don’t want to think of tomorrow … tomorrow is another day. 
It just happens to be … Monday!

Sorry to hear about the flood, FCM. Definitely sounds like tile would be more practical in that area.
I was up way too late, so I’ve been lazing around, thinking about Christmas presents and watching stuff online and generally chilling. Decided to put off deheathenization until tonight since I have a bunch of garden stuff to do and it’s getting dark way too early these days.
Just had a lovely bowl of Cheerios with a sliced banana and dried cherries. Yum.
Off to try to be productive.

We went out last night with our friends. First we went to dinner, and then we all went to one of the friends’ house to socialize and what not. Had a great time, but I am freakin’ tired today.
I need to see if my coffee is done. I need some.

Am in from the garden where I conscientiously mowed (probably for the last time), chopped a bunch of leaves into little pieces and spread them out in various beds, raked other leaves out of the way to where they’ll happily rot, harvested my very last tomatoes (I’ve been putting this off; there were a couple that are pretty red, but the rest will be green tomato jam.)
Have ingested a portion of beef stroganoff and some dried cherries. Took a break in mid-gardening to go get ice cream. Someone remind me that the goat cheese with cognac-soaked figs is TEH TOTAL YUM. I had some last year and then forgot about it. If I’d remembered how much I liked it, I would have just gotten a scoop of it. Instead I had 1/2 a scoop of black currant yogurt and 1/2 goat cheese/fig.
I’ve showered and am almost ready to go get deheathenated.
Has anyone thought about getting us started tomorrow?

OK, I think I’m finally done. I just paired the last of the socks. I did 6 loads of laundry, emptied and loaded the dishwasher, rebuilt the toilet and helped **FCD **install it, also helped him put up the towel bars and TP holder and the door. Man, you put a vanity, a toilet, and a door in a room, and it really shrinks!!! :eek:
Anyway, I’m done for the night. My back aches, my feet hurt, and my body wants to know why I’m not neck-deep in a hot tub… Guess I have to go back to work to get some rest.
Plus there’s a scandalous lack of chocolate in here. bummer
And now I find out my Oldest Sister was at That Old Shack in the Woods recently and didn’t let me know she was in town. She better have a damn good reason for not giving me a heads up so I can do something like VISIT since I don’t know if I’m going to get Christmas off this year.
I declare tomorrow Spaz Drinks Heavily Day. Already I declare this.

Ok, now I can get back to drinkin’ sangria.
Just finished panfrying a mess of poke chops for this week’s lunch. Yee and haw.
I also figgered out I can rake my nuts into a pile and scoop them up with a shovel. The bad part is now there’s a lot more trash to pick out of them. Harrumph. I’d rather join Swampus in getting sangriafied. I’d help Spaz, but I gotsta work tomorrow.
