The Nerdity Test

Nerdity Quotient: 53.4% (267/500)
Your social life needs some serious help
Its about what I expected, I guess. The slide rule put me over the top.

Just a moment…the adjective would be nerdid, so the noun meaning the “extent of nerdiness” would be nerditity.

I don’t think I need to take the test, thank you very much.

I should have mentioned that in addition to my current career as a science geek, I have a past as a professional computer geek, thus giving me the double whammy.

30.2%. I am the Coke Zero of nerds.

That test is totally outdated. What the hell is USENET?

If you’re not joking, USENET is a giant, unmoderated free-for-all that occasionally resembles a message board.

Go to groups.google.com and type in an interest. You’ll meet the unadulterated kooks of the world, plus some nice people.

19.2% yeah, not much over here and I thought I knew more.

The lowest score yet…
10.8%

This was not really a “nerd test.” It was a “science nerd test.” There are different kinds of nerds, and not all of them are of the math/science/computers variety. I’m not sure I would have scored any higher if the test covered other areas, though. I’m just saying, not all nerds are into the same stuff.

35.4 for me. I definitely thought I was more of a nerd than that.

I guess this is a good thing, right?

Only 21.4% Nerd for me but I have a agree with Argent Towers that it’s a science nerd test. I’d probably have scored in the low 40’s before I got married. Too many questions asked ‘do you now own’ or ‘is your life like this now’ so I lost points. (I guess that makes me a reformed nerd?)

I was able to claim all the Star Wars movies in a 24 hour period as two friends and I did that a couple months ago. We started at home with episode I and II, went to the theater for III, and then back home for the classic IV, V, and VI. That was a great day.

My score is 54.4%

Agreed. I got 14.8%, and I’m pretty sure I’m a nerd.

31.2%. Not that nerdy! But…

:dubious: The price of nerd-dom is high…

Really? I have WD-40 because I’m a bike nerd! Actually, that’s not true. I have WD-40 because my DAD was a bike nerd 20 years ago. It’s still good! A true bike nerd will be able to tell you that WD-40 is EVIL and not a lube at all and should never-ever-ever-ever be used on your bike unless you want to get something out that’s frozen in place, and even then you should face the West and recite the Epic of Maintenance, verses 4,753-4,958, and then ask the spirits of the Ancient Bicycles for forgiveness for what you must do. And then you should throw away the WD-40 and use your tube of white lithium grease anyway.

[sub]Nerdy enough for ya?:D[/sub]

The computer questions were hilarious, by the way. Does your computer have more than one megabyte of RAM? Uh, yeah…

They didn’t even have the one computer language I know on the list! Kind of funny, given that javascript is enabled for this version of the test. And fercryingoutloud, assembly code!? Good gravy.

Way out of date. I just answered questions in my secret alter-ego of a former cheerleader now working in an office. Result was 8.5%.
(I mean, it’s hardly nerdy to have sent an e-mail recently, and other than spammers themselves, who doesn’t receive more than they send? )

Meh, 35.2. Shouldn’t I get bonus points for being disappointed in my score?

72%

Sadly, If I had taken this in senior year of college, When I still remembered the scientific stuff, used usenet and MUDs regularly, and hadn’t gotten rid of most of my crap yet, I would have easily cracked 85+

20.6%

And I agree with everyone who said it is too science-heavy. I got about halfway through and I almost gave up, but my residual nerdiness must have compelled me to finish. But sheesh, the only number I could rember from high school is the gravity one and pi (and only to five digits at that!)

Does your weight being higher than your IQ mean you’re more or less of a nerd?
