What do you think of the new layout?
I can’t stand it and I’ll probably end up heading over there less often than I currently am. I liked the simplicity of the old set-up and they’ve replaced that with something mind-numbingly dull.
I hate it. It locked my browser twice. It’s no longer my Firefox home page and I will probably go over there much less often.
Oh man, the new layout is a significant improvement. It actually looks respectable, and the “Submit a Link” is finally findable.
I normally hate redesigns (see IMDB), but this one is grade fucking A.
When I saw it this morning I turned to my co-worker and said “DO NOT WANT!”
Seriously, though, it looks fine to me. Hasn’t caused any problems, either.
It looks lopsided to me. There are still two columns of minor content, links, navigation and one main column of content, but it looks wrong with the two narrow columns scrunched up over on the right.
Shit! Hotmail all over again! Did Microsoft buy Fark?

Looks really crappy to me, and those tabs they’ve added for the different categories have to be the worst looking tabs I’ve seen in a long time. They look like they were drawn in MS Paint.
The whole lopsided design is annoying as well.
I agree with Dunawake: the lopsided design is annoying. But not enough to stop me going there.
This was my thought as well.
I’ve always hated Fark to begin with because that do NOT have one single link that teaches you the proper coding to use one their board.
I’ve been posting there almost as long as I’ve been posting here and I STILL have no idea how to quote someone, use bold* typing or even post a link.

This page explains how all the coding is done. I’d wait a few days before downloading the plug-ins to give the developers time to tweak them to the new layout.
